It's totally making things up. It was posed as Trump casually watching the riots. In fact, it was Trump watching a calm crowd at his rally prior to him speaking.

Now if only they can find out out who actually incited the mob and enabled it to happen. That is the real mystery here.
I am sure the DOJ is smart and will eventually figure it out.

Meanwhile, commenting on the Capitol riots, Konstantin Kosachyov, the chair of the Russian upper house’s foreign affairs committee, said in a post on Facebook on Thursday: “The losing side has more than enough grounds to accuse the winner of falsifications – it is clear that American democracy is limping on both feet.
“The celebration of democracy has ended. It has, unfortunately, hit rock bottom, and I say this without a hint of gloating.
“America no longer charts the course and so has lost all right to set it. And, even more so, to impose it on others.”

Got to give Putin credit if yesterdays events was the culmination of a long term plan. Not a good thing though.

The Twitter poster followed up with this .
“In any case”.. then things we all already know. He even realizes he spun it. Same with the “they’ve breached the capital again!” Cops letting them through a barricade video that keeps getting shared with the last second clipped out, showing hundreds of people already on that side. The commentary was meant to stir #### up, and spin what we were watching.

Not arguing that there is spin. For sure there is. If the offense taken is that Trump is "cheering on insurrectionists", I don't think it is made up. I mean, folks were wearing t-shirts telling everyone this was an insurrection. Not everyone stormed the capital, but a large number.
There was a report that Trump was "out of his mind" about the insurrection failing. That's bonkers. Not that there was an insurrection, but that it failed.

They allowed them to waltz in because they did not take this seriously and didn't have the man power or proper barricades in place. I have the utmost respect for the officers trying to do what they could but the blame should fall solely on the people that allowed this to happen and left their own men vulnerable and helpless to stop what was going to happen these cops should be absolutely pissed at their higher ups

It appears to me what we are watching is the whole of the Trump team gathering around as if it was an election day party, with music blaring and TV's everywhere to watch the action as it unfolded, to watch a rally that Trump had pinned his hopes on changing the course of his loss, a change that could only come about by this mob of porcine yee haws storming the capital and forcing an undemocratic coup on the US

Nothing as severe as in DC, but there was at attempt to storm the capitol building in Kansas and the governor's mansion in Washington State.

Guys we don't need fake news to make Trump look bad...be careful what you share all it does is make the "fake news" narrative look legitimate.

Maybe I don't understand enough of what happens with the logistics of rallies, but do they normally have what appears to be a "war room" like this for every regular rally? That much setup, that many people, and that many monitors? This looks like they were trying to observe the situation from a bunker-like atmosphere, although I suppose they could have used an interior space in the White House or something similar.

She was a deluded MAGA-head so anything is possible, but I hope there is an investigation.

You don't storm a building with armed skinheads where the Vice president is. Let alone the whole entire Senate and house are meeting. Almost every single person of the government was there.
They terrorists stormed the building, they chemical irritants at cops and they placed pipe bombs. Everyone was ####ing lucky that the Capital hill police and Secret Service didn't all start unloading there clips . For #### sakes their are pictures of armed people that were ready to take hostages.
Usually I'm on the side of protestors . This wasn't even remotely like the BLM or other protests where the cops are called in and they escalated things. These were people who attacked the very essence of there democracy by violently over taking it to change a outcome of an election . They had ####ing bombs planted.
