And the response in the third was big to me too.

They were horrible in the last 17 minutes of the second, like some of the worst play I’ve seen from this team.

But they came out and locked it down in the third, especially up until the 2-0 goal. They gave up little in the third, added to the lead, and had a really strong PK with 7 minutes left.

Hopefully that gives them some confidence going into Sunday.

No you bunch of knuckle heads. You allowed 2 goals and scored zero. You didn't deserve to win jack. You can argue about the outplay. you can argue about the shot attempts which is a highly subjective stat because it basically includes shots from non scoring areas that hit the net. But at the end of the day, the Flames scored 2 the Stars scored nothing. The Flames got the win.

Add on that the Flames put on a good clamp in the final 5 minutes and I didn't feel that the Stars were super dangerous.
Isn't it ironic that they'd be crying about today's loss after the officials/league basically gifted them yesterday's game?

A win is never ugly but this one is. Time to have some blue label to calm down. Talbot has been great for us. BSD has to wait a bit longer!

It is , literally, impossible to win a hockey game when you don’t score a goal.

Texans, give your head a frigging shake!

Who cares. I mean seriously, we're not playing them, we're not prepping for the next series.

Sometimes teams win games where they play ####ty, it balances off when they lose games that they play well.

Its the great cycle of life man.

Why can't we take the first hour after the game and just you know, enjoy the win, then we can get back to bashing the team later, you know, or not.

Ask real questions, get real answers. Much better than the typical crap.

Gentlemen, you've both worked very hard. And in a way, you're both winners.

But in another more accurate way, Calgary is the winner.

Was Bishop hurt? Curious why he wasn’t playing after the win yesterday.

I thought Quine was solid. I’d do Robinson over Rinaldo.

Quine - Ryan - Robinson

He's a character.

I cracked up in Game 1 when he kept trying to go to the bench for the extra attacker late and the Flames continually dumped it back into his end. He'd skate back to his crease and was visibly swearing in anger.
