Lifetime Suspension

Don't want to get ahead of myself but Gaudreau was showing signs of life in the last ten minutes.
Giveaways galore in the first fifty (puke) but it feels like he pulled his head out of his ass some time in the third period and suddenly looked way more calculated and dare I say..dangerous with the puck.

I thought Johnny was better today. Certainly not good. And definitely not close to what he can be. Just better than he has been.

A lot of Dallas fans are whining that they deserved to win this game.
No you bunch of knuckle heads. You allowed 2 goals and scored zero. You didn't deserve to win jack. You can argue about the outplay. you can argue about the shot attempts which is a highly subjective stat because it basically includes shots from non scoring areas that hit the net. But at the end of the day, the Flames scored 2 the Stars scored nothing. The Flames got the win.
Add on that the Flames put on a good clamp in the final 5 minutes and I didn't feel that the Stars were super dangerous.

I thought Johnny had a better game than his last few. At the very least, he was moving his feet and trying to be creative.

I was impressed by that backcheck by Lucic, he was flying out there at times.

They won. That's the most important thing. But it's hard not to be concerned about that performance. The Flames need to turn the tide if they want to win this series.

Maybe he didn't either and that's why he looks so confused.

Don'tcha know? It turns out Talbot's secret weakness is the lucky bounce off the glass that sneaks into the crease 1/100 times.

If the Flames play like that against Vegas or Colorado, they’re going to get embarrassed.

Meh, maybe I'm old, maybe I'm weird.
But since I don't get paid by the Flames, I'm not worrying about it. The Flames won, I'm happy. All the talk about trades and moves and that other stuff is like water off a dogs back.
