He is up way more than 1 goal. Hes got everything going for him.
Look what's happened. Sanders has very real strength out west, as shown by his wins last night in CA, UT and CO. For a candidate who has been unfairly maligned for years as being only for privileged, straight, white males, the diversity of his coalitions in California and Nevada is particularly impressive. But unlike Biden's resounding (but expected) triumph in SC, which was praised as a show of strength, Sanders' resounding (and somewhat unexpected) triumph in NV was met with outrageous sensationalism including Nazi comparisons and, in a true example of throwback anti-Semitism, the comparison of a Jewish leftist leader to a deadly virus that people are struggling to eradicate.

It doesn’t assume anything.
It provides a basis to which to compare candidates. I agree that a candidates ability to bring out the base is what a primary measures.

Wait...what? I don't remember this part, but news cycles happen pretty fast these days. When did this happen?

Keep in mind those states rely heavily on mail-in ballots, and those ballots would have been cast before Biden's surge in recent days. Half of primary voters yesterday had only decided on who to vote for in the last few days.

Feel free to call me out the next time I criticize a politician for doing politics.

Yep, there was still a lot of vote splitting in those states. Sanders didn't break through the mid 30% in any states but Nevada and Vermont.

Another victory for the 0.1%. Looks like I'll be voting independent again.

Come on, if being an incompetent moron is something that you don't want in a Democratic presidential candidate, you should be very happy that Bernie's chances just took a huge hit last night.

No, not dishonourable, but it is a bad strategy. What is the appeal of Sanders if he can't get anything done? Right now, everyone is rushing to get behind Biden for no other reason than to stop Bernie. How would a president Sanders get anything through Congress if he doesn't even have Democrats on his side, let alone Republicans?

So Bernie does indeed appear unelectable. Seems like your average, blue collar voter who makes up the bulk of the country wants nothing to do with him.
Huh. Never saw that coming.
So do his supporters sit on their hands during the election in a petulant show of solidarity?

I mean there's a move to push out a lot of dead weight centrist Dems in Congress right now for this very reason.
Change has to start somewhere, otherwise the US just cycles between Centre and Right forever. (Yes I know you probably think that cycle is a good thing)

The vantage point of the boot is certainly more favorable than the perspective of the neck.

The longer they try to stifle the progressives the bigger the fall is gonna be for the right and the center down the road. You can't keep down a movement whose time has come. It will explode in their faces in due time.

I mean, I’m younger than you and there’s no way I’d vote for Bernie. Heavy sympathizing with straight up communist regimes like the USSR and Cuba as shown in all these video and audio clips would be a top 5 reason I’d vote for basically anyone but him.

His supporters aren't flocking out now, So the issue is that either his supporters no longer believe he's the face of "Progressive Politics", or they don't believe that he can beat Trump so they've disengaged.
