But thats simply not true. Out side of wsh and BST leadi.g their divisions. teams and the rest in a playoff spot is on par for every division. Then every division outside of a wildcard spot drops to 38 or 36 points. Every division is the same beside Washington and Boston leading in points. Every division is essentially the same right now.

So everyone says the pacific is a crappy division but its not. It's on par leugue wide team is on par for every spot in the league. It's one of the strogest if not arguably the srtongest in the league due to parity.

Makes me wanna ses those two guys connect on a lot more goals. That could take on a life of it's own, like a light version of the purple gatorade.

Speaking of the Lucic celly.

I saw multiple people reference both Blades of Steel and NHL 94 last night. I was always under the impression that teams thought they were doing an NHL 94 celebration.

Except neither game, as far as I can tell, has ever feature a celebration where players raise their sticks Tusken raider style. I even googled it and all I could find is people arguing which game it’s from and others speculating that it’s a Mandela effect type deal where people are falsely remembering this celebration ever being featured in any video game.

Game Takes: Flames 5 Arizona 2

- Flames win 6th straight
- points in 8 straight
- Talbot with the win again (solid)
- Depth scoring continues

I know what celebrations both games feature. That’s why I made my post.

This is the celebration people think it’s referencing. Not the skate around part, just the end.

But that’s also not a tusken raider style.

It wasn’t in the original NHL 94, it’s in the NHL 94 control mode in the modern NHL games.

I said Blades of Steel because someone else did TBH. Someone should ask them what they are doing.

Teams doing that style of celebration predate that game. That’s why it’s weird. The game seems to have incorporated an urban legend.

Either way, its brilliant!

Especially because, strangely enough, Lucic's odd body movements and expressionless face really sells the vintage video-game hockey celebration.

In the end though....these guys are finally having some fun!

Keep on rolling!

Former doghouse denizen Michael Frolik has gone from rumouredly disgruntled to apparently gruntled.
Never understood it. Frolik always works his butt off and never really seems to complain. He's not as skilled as he once was but he's still a very useful player and a team guy. What did Peters have in for him? Seems like just the weirdest guy to pick on.

Monahan giving him the hat tonight in that clip seemed like an explicit "welcome back." Great to see the team building atmosphere.

Either way, let's not nerd it up with Star Wars.

Ryan Leslie asked Lucic specifically about it last night, and mentioned Blades of Steel. Lucic said he didn’t know anything about that, and said Andersson started it, and both thought it was funny.

I love this.

The team is playing for each other.

And they're buying in on the coach.
I'm not going to pretend to know how the dressing room felt while the team was slipping under Peters. But that definitely looks a lot more fun and how it should be!

I'm just glad we don't have to wade through a bunch of posts with

"Coach killers"

"This is all on the players"

"The coach is 100% NOT the problem"

"Stability is absolutely necessary, can't let the players run the asylum"
