Zagidulin for me. He seems like he has good stats and the euro scouts hit their shot last time with Rittich.
For skaters my next one is Ruzicka, he’s got NHL talent and will have a career if he ever gets motivated.

Zavgorodniy for me, for the third straight time. I hope third time is the charm. After that I'll go Sveningsson, Lomberg (Lower floor) and Gillies (Still has potential)

I still find 12 players on the list somewhat interesting, which is a good sign.
That isn't to say the team is 22 players deep with high end prospects, but players that are interesting.

So far I've voted for the winner or the runner up every round, but I'm stepping off the conventional path for the next while and going with Yelesin. The guy was an all-star in the 2nd best league in the world. And while the NHL team is very deep at defense at the moment, there isn't much more in the pipe, so Yelesin should get prime minutes in Stockton to continue to improve and adapt to the North American game.
Assuming the Flames still move one dman from the NHL roster before the start of the season, then Yelesin is only a couple injuries away from being in the NHL this year.

Roman had basically an identical to season to little Z without playing with Lafreniere and in a tougher league. He gets my vote. Can make a case for at least 5 guys in this round though

Yeah I do feel like this is one of the more interesting years. Maybe not as many high end prospects but from about 7-25 is a bit of a toss up of talented players that actually are performing okay.

If I was going to group them it would be:

Top end prospects (4)
- Valimaki
- Dube
- Kylington
- Pelletier

Could be Top End (2)
-Pettersen (NCAA performance close to 1st round level)
-Parsons (even though he hasn't shown it post-junior)

Then I really do think there is a big group of "interesting" prospects that have either had really good junior numbers, or impressed overseas, but either don't have high draft pedigree, have some question marks, or really as a fan base we just don't know enough about them yet.

Personally I think it's really tough to separate this group because I just don't know enough about them.

Forwards: Phillips, Nikolaev, Pospisil, Zavgorodniy, Tuulola, Gawdin, Koumontszis, Sveningsson, Ruzicka, Feuk, Nodler, Roman

Defense: Yelesin, Lerby

Goalies: Gillies, Zagidulin, Schneider, Wolf

Ended up going with Gawdin just due to him having a decent rookie season in the AHL that was similar to Phillips.

One guy that hasn't really been mentioned at all is Lucas Feuk - who had a really good draft season in the Swedish U-20 SuperElit league.
Fuek finished 5th overall in points in the league for U-18 players and some highly rated company in the top 5.

 Henriksson: 49 points - 2nd Round - 58 Overall
 Raymond: 48 points - 2020 Draft - Ranked #3
 Holtz: 47 points - 2020 Draft - Ranked #5
 Gunler: 46 points - 2020 Draft - Ranked #7
 Feuk: 43 points - 4th Round - 116 Overall

Sveningsson should be a head of Zavgorodniy by virtue of the fact that he is closer to realizing his potential. The leap from junior to pro is far greater then the leap from Euro-pro to NHL. Sveningsson's floor is higher, and his ceiling is just as high.

It's really weird that he's getting so many votes right now -- I could see it based on development camp hype (heck, I was way too high on him after the scrimmage), but really digging into it, his numbers aren't more convincing than Sveningsson or Gawdin.

Furthermore, Gillies should be going nowhere near the 10-spot. Closer to 20, I think. He's probably 4th on my goalie prospects depth chart.

The fact that Gawdin is one of the oldest players on that list really doesn't help. 22 is a pretty decisive age, if he can't elevate his game, he wont be more than an AHL vet.

Gawdin is only 1 year older than Phillips and scored the same amount of points in his rookie year.
