For a guy that never shuts up about truculence, Treliving sure does go out of his way to find the most passive coaches.
Loubardias loves Peters. That's probably a bad sign.

You keep saying this over and over again. I am interested if you have yet bothered to look at the rest of the roster, and considered how other players than E. Staal have performed under Peters' tenure in Carolina.

Man, this message board is going to be uninhabitable when the Oilers get rid of McLellan and bring in Sutter. That still won’t be the end of us though - the end comes when Sutter and his fresh faced assistant coach, Glen Gulutzan lead the Oilers to a Stanley Cup victory.

Its just weird because I think the Canes had a more all round better group of Fw's than Calgary had. I mean I dont think they had a Gaudreau or Monahan but their roster is rounded out more evenly.
I know we have a better d corps overall. and better goaltending.
Who knows, maybe Peters can keep his fire lit under the players arses for a whole season, that'd be nice.

You seriously don’t get it?
Sure, players naturally develop. I’m not saying some players didn’t score or naturally develop
Staal is a 70 point asset before and after, who was producing at 50 points.
Did Teravainen’s offense make Staal’s expendable? No.
Forget your what about ism, he wasted a top tier asset

What is the point of this post? Why are we doing this to ourselves?

It's a decent guess...Babcock finished dead last when his roster sucked. He loses in the first round with a decent team.
It's probably likely the Babcock coached canes wouldn't have been 15 points better.

Yes I even responded directly to you on it.
Again, forget your what about ism, he had a perfectly good 70 point asset available, didn’t get 70 points out if it or anyone for that matter
It’s really not that confusing

So this is more Treliving targeting Peter’s than he firing Gulutzan. I wonder if Gulutzan would have come back on a short leash?
There clearly was no search and this was always a one man race

Everyone that Brad Treliving has had a past working relationship with now qualifies as his "buddy."

As a Flames fan I hope Peter's is the next Scotty Bowman. But the speed at which this "process" was completed is worrying.

You are right. It's not. You hate Bill Peters and nothing will change your mind. This much is abundantly clear.
