Come on, he was caught totally unawares. Frolik said in the PG interview he was passing it back to Brodie. Obviously he should have just made sure to get it out but let's not act like TJ Brodie was not his usual braindead in his own zone and easily could have taken that pass if he had a lick of hockey sense which h he clearly does not. Frolik should not have made the pass but wtf was Brodie doing there just letting it float on by.

Coaches don’t play, so when crazy #### happens or players mess up that’s not really on them.

BUT, 50 games in to season 2 if your team is still mostly lost, inconsistent, and has no collective muscle memory to fall back on when it matters, we’ll thats the coaches fault. They are clearly not buying whatever he’s selling.

I’m not confident it’s going to get better.

This. I was listening on the radio and didn’t grasp what a monumentally bad play it was until I just watched it now. Even if the pass finds Brodie it is a horrible decision. I can’t grasp what he was even trying to do.

I agree 100% and it was more of a in general all season long. I think GG takes more sips of water than words spoken to players ... I still think a timeout earns us a point.

Frolik could have rung it around the boards, could have faked curving off the boards and backhanded it out when the checker fell for it... he's going to be drowning himself in the shower tonight. It was a stupid, unforced mistake that no hockey player past peewee should be making, that being on the shelf for the last few weeks should not excuse. And he knows it.
