That's true, though that'd be a lot bigger of a deal. I don't think there'd be an appetite for that as they were trying to do the whole new healthcare deal through appropriations so they could avoid having to get 60 votes, if they thought the senate would just change that rule too they'd have just sent over a regular bill.

The majority can vote to confirm the nominee, but the minority nominates.

Make it so votes in the house take 60% while you're at it, make them always have to find a coalition.

Also, younger voters are more often Liberal; in a generation the Republicans will have a hard time winning elections. Texas will eventually tilt blue.

The thing is Bannon might not be wrong. He controls the cult, so if the cult turns on Trump his approvals are looking like 25-28% at best, and that's the impeachment point. Should be fascinating to see how this plays out, but the cult is rooting for Bannon 100% right now. To them Kushner and Ivanka are secret liberals working with deep state GOPers to have the globalists take control. If Bannon does eventually get ousted, that's when things get really interesting.

I think this is exactly how Trump falls: a friend becomes an enemy/rival and the floodgates open. It's come close with Flynn, but Bannon is a bigger fish because he isn't limited to tattle telling, but can run his own propaganda campaign if he wants targeting the very people who are usually beyond rational persuasion when it comes to Trump.

Well, younger voters eventually become older voters and it balances out. This has always been the case.

Kentucky Coal Mining Museum converts to solar power

The Kentucky Coal Mining Museum in Benham is owned by Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. Communications Director Brandon Robinson told WYMT, they're hoping to save money by the switch.

"We believe that this project will help save at least eight to ten thousand dollars, off the energy costs on this building alone, so it's a very worthy effort and it's going to save the college money in the long run," said Robinson.
