Any other suggestions? I really don't know many famous people in the construction industry. I tried a few other non-celeb accounts too.

But he's not letting up, using every piece of leverage he can, going on TV, and basically dragging this body dead or alive to the finish line. Base level whiners don't do that.

That's kind of the point. Making Truman look like dicks isn't the end goal here, it's getting them to fix it. I's not like it's a cheap $300 TV you can just go replace.

So whats the general buzz around your apartment complex Polak?
Other homeowners aware what's going on, checking their sink and asking the condo board to strap them?

You went scorched earth too early in my opinion. Now you've stigmatized your property and likely lowered the value of every unit in the building. One google search on the building name and all this stuff will come up.

Curious. What would your strategy have been? What other options were out there?

I don't think polak needed to disclose the building address to get the results he desires. I would agree that anybody thinking of buying a place is going to be turned off, making the other condo owners probably pee in his mailbox. Then we will see another thread about how Truman didn't build the mailboxes to be pee proof.

Lol yeah he should have kept it hush hush so that he could sell to some sucker and let it be their problem. Or when it happens to one of his neighbors. At least now other people know and may come forward.
This also isn't some $50k issue. Even if the sink wasn't installed properly the strap people keep referencing would have saved a lot of damage. Then it is probably an inexpensive repair job to reattach sink with epoxy.
Polak is utilizing pretty much the only available avenue when a big company screws the little guy.
Truman homes are the bad guy here let's not forget that. And frankly unless you are gonna pony up to fix polak's' condo, you should just stop your whining about his situation. It's just making you look bad.
Overwhelming Truman with social media, telephone and email complaints along with some bad press are probably the only option. Otherwise they'll get away with their shoddy work.

so whats the end result here? Will insurance cover it? Will your insurance premiums go up considerably? I am guessing the damage to your neighbours will be covered by insurance?

Google the name of the complex.
Im not to concerned. This is easily explained as an isolated incident and I think exposing the warranty issue for the entire complex and informing consumers of Truman Homes poor customer service is more important than the potential loss for me personally.
I also didnt plan on selling and instead keep this as a rental property so yeah, I'm not concerned.

I had a similar situation with insurance not too long ago and you get so enraged with the feeling that you're being brushed aside when you paid for something you were supposed to get.
Too many large companies get away with garbage like this and too many consumers just make excuses for the company or whine annoyingly and then quietly slink away... which only makes stuff like this happen more. It's commendable you put yourself out there to get what's yours. It's also sad that was your last, if not only, resort.
I hope you take this to the ends of the Earth to get it resolved and I hope Truman gets knocked down a couple pegs because of it.

Sorry if it was mentioned, but are they registered with the Better Business Bureau? Maybe that could be an avenue to go through.
Actually, it looks like they are and they have an A+ rating.

No better place to mention that they deleted their entire reviews section on facebook after you posted a negative review than the reviews section of BBB

Hey Polak - If you are going the social media route, I recommend putting a picture with some of your platforms for your account. I don't know if you only made a twitter profile just for this, but I'd recommend throwing any kind of photo on your account. The bird's egg loses you credibility IMO. Put a flames logo or a picture of your cat or anything - just not the automatic bird's egg
That being said- good luck and keep fighting the good fight against these guys. More people need to stand up for quality!
