I always say that excusing initially bad workmanship by warranty expiration is inexcusable. Truman should go back and fix the sink.

With the surprising amount of coverage this case is receiving now, I think we are going to see some official follow-up from Alberta New Home Warranty Program and, likely, Truman themselves. Good for you, polak.

I wonder if other people have responded to CTV regarding the story and their experiences with Truman.

All jokes aside - find out what exact product they used to attach it. Then contact that company and get exact specs from them on weight capacity, failure rate, signs improper installation etc.

It's been a while since I've been as emotionally invested in a thread as this one. Best of luck, polak!

Really? I think it comes across as someone who was screwed and is surprised by the support he is getting and is joining in the fun.

I had originally thought the same thing when this thread first popped up and I started seeing it on Reddit.

But he's not letting up, using every piece of leverage he can, going on TV, and basically dragging this body dead or alive to the finish line. Base level whiners don't do that.

That's awesome. Now you just need Mike Holmes letting loose on an epic rant about "minimum code" requirements.

Too bad you don't have kids - Holmes rants go to the next level when there are kids involved.
