Funny you were thinking along those lines, this story tries to figure out exactly why that is the case:

Yeah I think that's why I don't like those shows. It's ironic when people do it. And the Dukes of Hazaard style editing....."Well I don't know how them Duke boys are gonna get out of this one but I sure do hope they brought their fishin poles" cut to commercial with the General Lee in mid air over Cotton Gum crick. So typical. I'm on to you Survivorman.

I loved Avatar and still enjoy watching it every once & a while. Agreed it was far greater on IMAX, but I thought it was still a great movie on BluRay.

Alright, I'll defend a few things...

Game of Thrones - forget the show (mediocre) and read the books

Comic book movies - American studios are basically that guy that you hate in the office. Somehow got a little power, but overall just a useless tool who makes everyone elses job harder. A bunch of business guys getting in the way of art being produced, because they 'know the trends in the market'. That's why it is rare to see a Marvel movie that doesn't follow the same story, over and over again, or a DC movie that isn't just the same guy in a different costume. The better a comic book movie, the more a studio just backed the hell off. Look for movies by directors with a lot of personal power, or titles that are too obscure for the studio to care about. (Dark Knight or Kick-Ass) Zack Snyder is a studio schill.

Cosplaying - I know a couple of girls who are into this. They were already incredibly good looking, and now they work out and are incredibly fit as well, so that they could cosplay. I think that this is an activity that women take way more seriously than men, and as far as sub-genres go, there's not a lot of downside here.

Hip hop culture has taken over hip-hop. The whole scene has been rotten for about 15 years, and now the music is pretty crappy, too. Hip hop used to be hooky as hell, but now the tunes just arn't catchy or original at all. Can't defend that.

Something I hate : mbas.
Maybe it's just who I have to come in contact with lately, but so much misplaced arrogance. 'Mbas for Dummies' took me one day to read.

I have no issues with the magpies in our neighborhood, some people around here use pellet guns on them but I like them. They keep my dog occupied in the backyard by trying to get to her bones, raw marrow bones. One will sit on the ground at one end of the yard and she will chase it, it flies away before she can get it, while the other picks at the bone when she runs.

My dog has started to learn what they are doing and now she takes her bone with her to chase the other bird. The magpies haven't won yet and if they ever do get too close it will be lights out for them. She is a killer!

I wonder what the next part of the game will be, how they will get her away from it.

I read the first book, but just gave up on the second. Too many boring parts with characters I didn't care about. Scenes drag on way too long. The show is epic.

The Dark Knight

And I say this as a batman fan who watched that movie on the opening day, but it was overwritten and due to a great Ledger performance/death, overrated.
The Hong Kong part was hokey, I didn't like how they faked Gordon's death for no reason, the classic "oh no he wanted to be caught!" moment with the Joker, the stupid cell phone bat vision, Harvey Dent randomly becoming two-face for the last five minutes before being killed, and the anti-climatic joker ending.

I feel that Batman Begins is the vastly superior movie out of those three.

I'm still surprised no one has attempted a Christopher Nolan-esque Superman vs. Doomsday movie.

I think most people feel this way, there are some major inconsistencies in TDK. But most people look past them because A) The Joker was incredible and B) It's still miles ahead pretty much every other Batman movie.

How DID Gordon fake his death? He was shot it a huge crowd of people, with cops everywhere. Where did he go? How did the Mayor and the other cops not know he was still alive?

What happened in the penthouse after Batman saved Rachel?

And the other things you mentioned.

Honestly though, if you watch them all in a row, I think they all play very well, but Batman Begins is definitely the best one.

Pooping at work. Everyone claims it's something awesome. ''Cool, I get PAID to crap on company time!" Yeah, you also get to sit on the same toilet seat as dozens of other people that day. You might as well rub your bare ass on another man's ass and then do it to everyone that you work with. Go up to one of your co-workers and ask him to pull down his pants, and to rub his ass all over your own naked ass. Because that is what you are doing.

Pooping at work is extremely overrated and only done out of necessity. Maybe it's because the washrooms in my office are terrible. But pooing unpaid at home is where it's at.
