Dennis Miller does work at Fox,
Do foxworthy and Larry make fun of liberals the same way liberals make fun of conservatives. I don't know much about either, but, you may be a redneck if, sounds like a conservative making fun of conservatives. Easy targets I guess.

Sorry, when was this time when SNL stayed away from politics exactly?

With more than 400 Electoral College votes, the Democratic ticket—Bernie Sanders, president, and Martin O'Malley, vice president—was declared the winner in Western Illinois University's third Mock Presidential Election (MPE)

They're even predicting quite big margins of victory.
This mock election has a phenomenal accuracy rate (100% by some claims), so it's worth taking note. It claims to be the largest and most elaborate of it's kind.
If nothing else, I think it rather clearly points out that Sanders is a legitimate candidate that seriously could win.

If we are looking at a Sanders vs Trump election next year I will need to stay in Canada forever. The U.S. will surely have fallen off their rocker.

So it's looking pretty solid that Ted Cruz is going to win Iowa. As Trump begins to slide down the polls and after he actually loses something, that's when the fun starts. How quickly will he go into take-my-ball-and-go-home mode? Into racist overdrive? Should be fun.

The best possible outcome is that he runs as an independent and takes his support with him.

Wasn't Trudeau an MP for 7 years before becoming PM, not a drama teacher?

Yes, it's the same logic as Obama was a community organizer only, not a Senator, president of Harvard law review , constitutional lawyer etc. only an unqualified community organizer.

I believe that Sanders is the candidate in either party that comes across as the most viable victor. Never mind that Sanders 1916 socialist policies would be a disaster, but his rhetoric and indeed, his character are certainly speaking to the heart of some important matters in the USA.

While they have some "conservative" writers it is generally thought of as a liberal site. The author in particular (Dana Kennedy) also writes for MSNBC, Huffpo and New York times. I would also consider those to be Left leaning news outlets.

Our history and even now our track record with our indigenous is nothing to be proud of but looking at the treatment that the Americans have given to their indigenous people, I don't see anything for them to brag about.

I guess it's more noble to just kill them all outright then to totally mishandle their integration.
