Not going to get caught up in this 'what's in this pocket' debate. It is ludicrous enough as it is because we have no idea what's actually in there.
On another note, how good of a friendship have Monahan and Gaudreau struck up. They seem to hang out with each other quite a lot. They probably talk a lot about what both need to do to improve. This is great, knowing they are going to be the cornerstone of our forward group for this team going forward for many years. Always nice to see that, and I'm sure it helps them on the ice too to the point where eventually both will just know where the other will be.

Tru dat. They didn't seem to hang out much or be that comfortable before, but they sure do now. And it's a real key that linemates get along really well (ask Conroy and Iginla).

So what you are saying is they are creating a locker room divide.
You are either in the Gaudreau-Monahan clique or you aren't?
Good old Jump to Conclusions mat comes in handy.

It looks like, from the outside, that the whole team is in the clique (I think it's the Gio clique).
I think there may have been a couple guys who were on the outside, from the old group (Glencross?) but there really doesn't seem to be any factions (like Regher v. Phaneuf).

I guess I should have used green text.

To be fair though if you are a millionaire hockey player in a city you did not grow up in you likely have very little to no friends around.
It's tough to go out and meet new people (that are not of the opposite sex) I would imagine.
Yup. That's why I think Hamilton wanted out of Boston.
If all your team mates are married with kids, and you're 18-30 and single with no friends in the city, it really doesn't matter how much money you have. It'll probably be pretty lonely.
That uppity loner would have put a cramp in their style.
Or they don't like gingers.
