Hell have eyes if he winds up in Anaheim and starts potting Hat Tricks.

But as a big fan of Glencross, I do think a new team may be the best for him if he is feeling the same way.
 |
Which wingers have cooled down in our top 6?

Hudler has been hot, Bouma is playing great, Jones is a PPG in his past 9, and he doesn't play center so can't replace Monahan or Backlund.

Gaudreau is really the only guy who has struggled 5v5 but even he is still putting up points on the PP and has great chemistry with Hudler.

No points in 10 games means he has to start producing on the line he is on before he gets moved up.

Great minds. I was just posting that. Jones, Hudler, Gaudreau or Bouma? Glencross can't match any of them over the past 10-15 games. Jones is the closest but he's really picked things up.

Glencross forgets who he is sometimes. A decent 2nd liner and an awesome 3rd liner that can provide a little bit of everything.

I've honestly that we have 2 2nd lines.... the first is the first but the 2nd and 3rd seem to be about the same in time and skill?

If the team did inquire about Glencross, is it on his list? Yes - 20% (6/30) No - 80%

If the team didn't inquire, he doesn't get dealt.
If the team did inquire, but it's not on his list, he doesn't get dealt.
If the team did inquire, and it's on his list, what is that probability? 50% x 20% = 10%.

Again, that's just a very simple view, and doesn't account for the Flames contacting every team on his list or the fluidity of the situation. |
i understand what you're saying but the likelihood of a trade is certainly over 50% with the way this situation's played out.
saying it won't because of the probability formula used above is a touch ridiculous.
In short, advanced stats suck again

Two 3rd round picks would be an interesting return. The picks would be low and high in that round, being their own 3rd and Edmonton's.

He was straight up asked if he wanted to stay with the Flames and nothing about his response screamed yes. He just said "well..uhh..it's not my descision"
He loves the city and being at home, but it's quite clear he doesn't want to be a cog in the wheel of this team, and would rather be handed a top 6 position somewhere instead of having to prove himself on a team where nothing's given.

I really don't see it that way. Maybe there are a few posters acting that way and calling him a whiner, but he is a polarizing player, and you will always see these sorts of posts about him.

To me, this is interesting news is because it is the first time it is realistic to contemplate Glencross waiving his NTC. That just gets the juices flowing on potential trade partners and returns. It isn't confirmation bias or irrational hatred.

That's exactly it. He thinks he is a skilled sniper instead of what made him successful. Being a energy guy that brings speed and an edge with a good wrister. He needs a reality check big time. I would rather have Wolf in his spot.

My guess is the opposite, actually, He wants to be a cog in the wheel of this team, but I think he knows the organization is intending to move on. Thus, it really isn't his decision.

Flames may target a defensive prospect that was drafted during the past four years or so.
