Starseed does seem pretty townie today. It's though, this is the most attempted swaying away from a vote we've seen so far this game. Now part of that could obviously be because we've sucked so far, so now everyone's more apprehensive.
I'll keep mine on, because there's too much mafia noise and attempted misdirection going on right now, imo. If starseed flips town and that puts me out next, it is what it is, I guess.

The captain voting, likely hoping to be the hammer and Baxter Renegade pushing to hammer starseed speaks volumes to me. I'm already voting for Baxter, but I'll switch to CC.

Just some early thoughts, people I am more suspicious of right now than starseed
Rathji
Kermitology
CC
You guys have been playing longer at this than me though so this night I will go with the group if you guys want to take out starseed. If I had to guess I am leaning more toward he is scum than town but I could very well be wrong. And if he is scum I think Lego is in big doo doo.

The only saving grace if starseed gets lynched and flips town is that we have a ton of leads to go on.
Commenting on the rest of your post, I strongly suspect that both groups of mafia and several townies have me on their potential mafia lists. I dont know if that is a good thing or not, but the target will likely be on my back for the rest of the game.

I've almost given up for the time being. Nothing's clear, which means mafia are probably doing a good job. I'll wait to see what happens after this kill, as I think things will be a lot more clear, but I bet I'll also be a pretty big target if starseed flips town. Oh well, day 4 baby!!

GAHHH it ruined what i was gonna say first
But on the chance he's mafia it gives us alot to go on. It could potentially have one mafia at one person left. But if he flips town that's gonna hurt. We have pretty much failed at finding mafia members.
Starseed mafia, then maybe kermitology and lego are the others 2 in that group?

Yeah, if starseed is mafia, we lynch these 2 for sure

Why do you keep saying that you might be next voted out?
This is the third post, after the first one I thought you were trying too hard to be town, and said so. Now two more similar thoughts.
Why do you think you will be targeted if Starseed is town?

Alright, I decided not to create a more extensive list, as I think it is in the best interests of the doctor/cop/RB'er to have greater numbers to hide amongst. So I will instead further research and layout my suspicions for my top suspects. (I was hoping you #######s would do the work when I was gone, but you instead decided to let the sword of damocles hang over me for the whole day)
CC:
- Starting the agulati train, then bailing when it was assured, while stating that he still suspected agulati (perhaps to prevent more jumpoffs?). This would at least take him off of CBL's list of people who always voted for the lynch.
- Potential connection to completely. Could be reason why he targeted LegoMan starting before agulati hammer:

- From the beginning of the thread, CC hints to mafia that they need a truce, such as:

True, but in this case first its a potential for three, two mobs, that I'm assuming have separate agendas plus a lynch.
In the last game the serial killer was in a game for himself, he wasn't specifically trying to wipe out the NHLPA or the players, he was eliminating threats to himself more then anyone else.
|
more hints to other mafia?:

More discussing reasons for mafia kills:

I would think that delgar was night killed because he was playing the smart member of the Scooby gang.
Not sure why Mat would be a threat.
|
- Then there was the bizarre exchange with legoman.
- I just dont buy the "Im surprised I am alive" type of posts:

- Yesterday and today he was in with completely to try and rush the hammer
Completely would be implicated with a CC mafia flip I would think.

Not just wasting time slinging mud seeing if it sticks.

He also echoed CC's points on agulati. A lot of his other posts dont have much substance.
(I am going to post this now, as I see more posts coming in, and I am paranoid that hammer is going to fall before I submit this... baxter thoughts, plus thoughts on game psychology to come)

If starseed dies and flips town, CC's actions over the past few days indicate strongly to me that he's mafia.

Gut feeling. I can feel the rumblings. I've voted out every townie so far (I believe) and was already called out for it and have been called suspicious by multiple posters. This would be the 4th townie killing I've been a part of if he flips town.

Ever since the hammer started coming down, starseed's been very convincing. He's either that good or we're going lynch a townie, tonight.
Maybe Captain first (that was a pretty damning synopsis of his posts). or go with starseed and then right onto captain if he flips town?

Baxter:
- Not a whole lot of posting in general. Is called out for inactivity, then starts posting more.
- His reasoning for voting for agulati:

For now, Ill join the status quo:
VOTE: AGULATI
I'm going to look back into this thread regarding the night kills that occurred and see if anything spikes my spidey sense.
|
Not sure that joining the crowd is pro-town thinking, but certainly could be a (weak) means of defending oneself when they flip town.
- 'Right now our best bet is to vote based on bizaro's post history' then asks for help in searching bizaros posts, then in the same post he votes for SP.

I agree with others that our best bet is to sift throw Bizaro's posts and start looking at those he was trying to protect or take the attention off of. Bizaro was also one of the most active posters here... I believe at least his Mafia group had private discussions ensuring all members keep their post counts high to ensure they avoid an inactive lynching, which has worked somewhat well as no mafia has yet to be lynched.
While I'm unsure about HG's affiliation, I do like what he said here:
For now, I'm going to go ahead and VOTE: STREET PHARMACIST
Is there a way to specifically view bizaro's posts in this thread?
|
- His pushing the hammer on me right now should ring alarm bells
- I think there is another reason that I am forgetting atm
Anyways, game psychology thoughts. The problems we have seemingly run into are a lack of balls. People are too afraid to vote with their head in fear of perceived alignments if they are wrong. I think we need to start using our heads more, and not being so chicken ####.
The problem we have is pouncing on minor errors that really dont mean anything. Voting should be based on sound logic and reason, and a body of work, not one meaningless slipup. I hope the agulati lesson sticks with us to the end of the game.
Pressure is a good thing, but maybe don't pressure with votes that the mafia can use to hammer someone at the last minute. Use the threat of voting, then follow through based on reason and their responses.
That is all for now.
