I know you guys like to say the Sedins are soft and all of that, but when a stretcher comes out I would think he isn't milking it.

Because of the head injury, the referee did not have the ability to call a minor. If he felt it was a penalty - and it was - it had to be a major.

Well most of us sane people aren't saying that at all. I don't think it's a 5 min penalty, but no way he was milking it.

Did he hit him hard, not really, but that doesn't matter. Hit from a vulnerable location like that is something you learn from 6 years old as the worst thing you can do on the ice. Can ruin peoples lives from a small hit, because of how dangerous that spot is on the ice.
|
So a 2 minute hit from behind penalty would suffice. That hit wasn't malicious in any way, shape or form.

No!
We need dramatics! We need Canuck fans giving beat-by-beat reports, telling us what awful people we are.

Like the post above you states, if they were not such divers most fans would think other wise.

I admittedly hyped up Johnny to my die hard semi-koolaid drinking Oil fan up near Lloyd and he doesn't think he stands a chance. Maybe it's because Ebs and Nuge aren't quite at the same level??
Sure it's one game, but this kid knows way more what it's like to play against big, physical players who are older than him. Those little db's didn't. It's faster here though, but Johnny will become faster too..and stronger.
I know he will. Because he's proved me wrong several times. Now it's my turn to be tenacious!! Haha

Bad call by the refs.. it was a clean hit. It is too bad D. Sedin was hurt and I really hope he is ok.

I don't think Henrick Sedin liked the answer he got in that conversation with Giordano

Just wanted to point out Butler's 19:10 minutes of ice time (more than Gio's 16:55) while both players sit at a +/- of 0.
