I don't get what the problem is with disallowing technically illegal goals? That would be the whole point. Technically you're not cancelling out several goals but correctly disallowing non-goals. Sure, you can't add any but solving more than half of a problem with already in place technology is better than nothing.

Narrowly off, a yard off is still off.

The technical definition and the actual application don't exactly always meet up though.

All I'm saying is that you could end up losing the goals that normally look onside, but a foot or a nose is an inch offside, but you don't get to add any of the incorrectly flagged plays.

I'm all for finding improvements and helping refs, but I think it would be hard to figure out a way to use the replay to fix the obvious reffing errors that we would all like to see fixed, without ending up having the replay get over used on plays we don't normally take issue with.

Typical Liverpool play.

Can't wait for their pathetic fans come in and tell us how it wasn't that bad and that a guy on another team also dives so fine for Liverpool to do it.

But aside from that, Liverpool beating United is always a fantastic day.

Can't argue with that, apart from the pathetic dive.

Absolutely dominated tactically (no big accomplishment there) and more disappointingly competitively.

Made perfect sense to wait till the 76th minute to try and change things. I mean why panic? No need to hurry.

Yes, all the Liverpool fans in here are constantly going on about how we love diving. Pathetic? Geez, look in a mirror.

Pool deserved that win. I think Moyes has lost the room.

I have to applaud Rodgers and Liverpool. Rodgers is doing a great job IMO and they are doing well this season. Of course they deserved the win today. For United, the only hope I have left is that they somehow finish this season with dignity ... and then we'll see what the summer brings.

He really has. He just doesn't seem to have a winners mentality when you hear him in press conferences or news articles. I think United need to bite the bullet and make the change this summer. The damage Moyes is causing will take longer to reserve the longer he's in charge. Especially if the talk about United spending big this summer is true.

smart by Wenger

parked the bus for 90 minutes after Rosicky's wondergoal, Spurs have no direction with Sherwood in charge the only thing that could have ever beaten Arsenal was an individual moment from Ade or Eriksen

counting down the days until the Dutch get eliminated at the WC and LvG is hired

Because every team you pull for are true sportsmen who never whine, bitch or dive. In any sport.
Must be nice to cheer for perfect teams.

What a game! That was really fun to watch until Sturridge went swimming.

Astonishingly one-sided. I agree that Moyes must have lost the room and RvP says it all, it used to be that everything he touched went in and now he cant hit the net to save his life and it honestly looks as though he isnt even trying.

I was as fooled as everyone else on the Sturridge dive/Vidic red.

Just watching the highlights and that Suarez goal was great. Patrice Average is just strolling around, keeps Suarez onside and doesnt even pretend to jog over to cover his man. Hes just walking around admiring his Captain's armband.

This guy was still playing??

The only thing I remembered about Rivaldo was his "brain hemmerage" incident during the 2002 World Cup.
