The question remains Fusebox. Just what exactly is the purpose of coming here and posting under a different name? Why not just continue posting under your original name?

I am seriously trying to understand the rationale/motive behind your actions.

Or the one before that?

It's when they step on the rights of others, that it becomes a very hot topic.

On a side-note, that was not a seig heil by RVP. He was simply celebrating. To the complete contrary of Anelka who admitted to what he did.

Legs are looking very tired for Liverpool with this tough Christmas schedule. If both games being played now finish as they are then you couldn't have hand picked a worse set of results for Liverpool this weekend.

Tough week for Liverpool with a lack of depth providing costly, along with some injuries and little luck from refs/linesmen. Having a 4 game span that included away fixtures against Spurs, City and Chelsea was always going to be difficult though, and picking up 6 points is about as much as could have been reasonably expected.

The second half of the season is a much kinder schedule, and if they can put these games behind them it is possible to put together a nice run. Out of the current top 8 on the table, Liverpool have played all but Man U away. There is every chance to push up the table, and with very little separation from 1 through 8 it should make for a very exciting second half of the season.

He should face a stiff penalty. When Suarez had his racist incident it was basically said that even if he meant no harm, it was his responsibility to know that what he did would cause harm. I think that's fair, and applies to both cases. These professionals have to know that what they do and say has a big effect since so many eyes are on them. He should get at least 3 games on the sidelines, regardless of his intentions.

Yup, they've got to spend some money and strengthen the squad if they want to be serious about this.

Although there were some pretty pathetic refereeing decisions in those two matches.

Yep. They definitely got shafted against City. That poorly called offside, and robbed of a penalty. Then to compound it, Mignolet let in a howler to seal it for City.

An aside; Fusebox & BadSanta have lifetime suspensions.

I dont think they will spend, doubt anyone does

no big players want to move the window before a tournament, and teams demand a kings ransom

it will be depth moves that are made as those are the types of players available

i.e a 4th CB, 5th CM etc.

I'm surprised it's only 10-1. Of course I probably wouldn't bet on them for less than 25-1 at this point. I've got some money on Arsenal to win the Champions League at 35-1 which was looking a lot better before we ended up second in our group and drew Bayern.

It's low because of a very favourable schedule in the 2nd half as mentioned above.

I'm flip-flopping about Arsenal having a go for Berbatov.

Wouldn't mind one of those 4th choice CBs either, how's Vertonghen's mood been recently?

I would do that if I were Arsenal, he's going to be cheap, and talent wise he becomes your best striker

but if he's moody he's really only a back up

and 4th CB, not 1st CB

I think the only thing Spurs do is recall BAE from loan so that Vertonghen isn't 2nd choice there anymore

It'd be nice to find another creative midfielder in case Eriksen goes down. Mind you, Dembele looked fantastic this weekend.

In other news, Spurs will be playing in Seattle this coming July.
