Good effort, nice to see Ramo hold the fort in the 3rd and OT and pick up the W.

Just noticed that Russell is currently 2nd in the league in blocked shots with 91, Butler is 3rd with 84.

With the Flames being bottom feeders again free tickets are easier to come by. So a lot more people are able to bring their kid to a game. I am seeing more kids at Flames games then I have in years. Which is nice. Kind of reminds me of when my Dad would take me to games.

If you told me the Flames would win a game and McGrattan and Butsy would be the only goal scorers, I'd say your crazy.

You'd probably say that anyway.

Not sure if Bingo is going to post game takes about this one, but in my opinon Lance Bouma should be selected for Mr.Clutch as he's developed into an excellent bottom 6 forward. He's versatile, has good wheels and throws his 6'1 210 body around regularly (not to mention his brilliant assist which made the first goal happen)
I'm so glad we have this guy in our lineup.

I love Bouma. He does everything you could ask of an energy line forward.

Whilst not wishing for a losing attitude, the problem we have is that the East is so weak we could be the worst in the West (maybe not while the oilers still exist) and still be getting a pick in the 6-9 range, so frustrating.

Love the win, but good lord, that was a horrible game to sit through. Sloppy play, poor execution. By pretty much everyone. Every time they shoot at Ramo, I cringe. There's a reason I couldn't give my tickets away last night. I did love it that McGrattan scored and got a star (first time being first star??). Also nice to see poor Butler score with all the grief he gets.

It means that the flames get peppered with shots and spend too much time in their own end.

Well, the Oilers certainly aren't tight.
