Guess there is a documentary coming out about the "Class of '92".

Pretty good review here, will have to give it a watch.

The foul itself looks like a yellow, but because there was no attempt on the ball then I think it should have been red. Just like the kick to Januzaj the other week should have been a red, too.

Edit: I think the Medel punch/slap is more comparable to Rooney's kick, and Medel should have seen red also. Red cards all around for me!
I would classify them as reckless vs contempt

Both are deserving of a red card and are just as dangerous, but Rooney's was done purposely out of seeing the red mist, Mirallas was just a poorly timed challenge and he kept his boot high

the players history factors that in as well, if it was Lee Cattermole going in for what Miralles did it would be judged differently

Mirallas looks competely intentional to me, it's just too late and too reckless to fit the poorly timed category. Also worth noting that there's history there after Suarez stamped on Mirallas last season and put him out for a couple of weeks.

The gif is here (of last season's stamp). http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2013/11...l-everton.html

Right click on it for something you would expect on a Scouse website.

I think he went Keano on him.

Agreed that all three are reds but Mirallas for me is by far more serious than the other two. They were petulant hand baggy swipes, his was a career ender. It just screams intent to me.

Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton 1h
Giggs has done unbelievable to get to 40. Still a vital player for United. Some career he's had.The British Paolo Maldini. #legend

Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton 1h
Still can't have him for getting up his brothers bird though. Great player but can't be doing that. No matter how much of a top player he is

Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton 1h
Respect him as a player. But as a man, you don't do that to your own. He's a wrongun in my book.

Holy crap, I find myself agreeing with Joey Barton. The Apocalypse must be nigh...

Barton is right though, Giggs is a fantastic player but a despicable person.

I must say though, his brother's wife shouldnt be getting a free pass and Giggs shouldnt be taking 100% of the blame either. Thats a two-person dance.

That one is always on the brother. 100%.

You just don't do that with your brothers wife.

So that Suarez guy is a decent footballer. That's one of the more impressive hat tricks you'll see, and it's only half time.
