I think I like Righteous Fire the Best. I thought I'd like Light em up more, but it comes on too abrupt, and there's not really anything that can be done about that with that song.

Righteous Fire or Sleep Now in the Fire have my vote.

Can we start a poll with these 4?? oh and "ring of fire!"
Are you campaigning for a hipster selection here? I get that RATM is not exactly a new release, but neither is Rock n' Roll Part 2, We Will Rock You, Coming in the Air Tonight or a lot of other iconic sports anthems. I guess what I'm saying is that the point is to get the crowd involved and have some fun. Almost anything in this thread is better than Barbara Streisand, regardless of its age!
I would be open to all genres and if the opposing team needs to Shazam the song so be it. I guess that can apply to RATM though with some of the younger players. The problem with the corny anthemy songs is you get sick of them very quickly and a song like Barbara Streisand actually had a good run and was as you say fun. Even minor hockey teams would have that song cranked in the dressing rooms and everyone could identify it as the Flames goal song. Find a song that can be born as the Flames goal song not one back from the grave.
I just don't see RATM the same way and don't think it would be so universally accepted. The song doesn't need a lot of soul it just needs to come off quick and be catchy enough for all to catch it. Phil Colins in the air tonight? Belch
