I'm a fan of Rage as the choice. FOB is a terrible band in my opinion but the song does kinda work as a goal song. The idea of Fall out Boy as a Flames song kinda kills me inside a little, you know the same way the Duck Sauce - Barbara Streisand song did.
Failing the RATM song, I think something more "anthem-like" that could be chanted by the crowd would be a good choice.
An example would be "Righteous Smoke" by Monster Truck. Perhaps some editing would be good putting the lyrics before the chant.

IMO this is the best one so far.
I like Rage, I like Macklemore, but this one is catchy enough that the crowd can get into it, it's not being used anywhere else (that I know of?) and the theme fits.
I think using Rage as a goal song was the right choice 10 years ago, not so much now (and I'm a pretty big RATM fan)

+1 for Monster Truck, as I go through these I feel like this one will be the best! Meets all the criteria, would love to see a video with the clip in it too!

Well, first of all I want to commend the maturity of CP because I don't think this thread has been rickrolled yet even though it screams for it.
I like the idea of the goal song being more dance-like than metal. I also think it has to provoke a small amount of annoyance to the visiting team and those watching the out-of-town feed.
I'd be up for something like Daft Punk's One More Time. Check it out around 1.30 or so. It has catchy loops that could be cut up without sounding awkward, it's catchy, has some lyrics that also could be pieced to sound like it's a shot at the other team (one more time, we're gonna celebrate, you can't stop, etc...)
I'm also surprised Fire Woman by the cult hasn't come up yet simply because of the word fire.
Something by Double Fuzz would be frickin' amazing.
Just found Big City Lights on Youtube and it really kicks ass. That song part between 2:12 and 2:50 would be the excellent choice IMHO. Local band from Calgary, great song, period.

I never liked the Duck Sauce song until it became our goal song... Now whenever I hear it, it autmotically makes me feel good because I associate it with a Calgary goal, lol

I really hope that any Fall Out Boy song is not the choice. I want to be happy when the Flames score, not covering my ears cringing at that horrid music.
I had the misfortune of seeing them live in the US years ago because my friend bought me a ticket. They are beyond brutal, actually embarrassingly bad live. I know everybody has different tastes in music but holy crap please do not make me have to associate one of my favorite things, a Flames goal, with that craptastic band.
