People thought Barbra Streisand was lame, imagine having a Fall Out Boy song as our goal song. Unless you're a teenage girl...
Funny enough I know more dudes into FOB than girls, and this is the 20-25 age range. I think the band you're thinking of is the glob of drool that is Mariana's Trench.
Someone else has already made the same complaint anyways. What would your personal suggestion be then? Mdubz.. hmm. Is Dubz for dubstep? Is that your thing? Sounds pretty girly to me. Probably some Skrillex s###.

I'm surprised the Flames even use Du Hast. I love Rammstein, but I don't get how they think it's appropriate. Have they even seen the music video? They beat a man, set him on fire and then blow up his car. How that song doesn't scare kids I'll never know.
May I suggest Mein Land by Rammstein as the opening game song?
I may be mistaken, but I think that was by Kipper's request.
screw just the goal song, the Flames need a whole new entertainment coordinator. No more playlists from the early 90's for gods sake! Cotton-eyed Joe, swamp thing...really?
At least when the Flames are getting sh*tkicked play some up to date music that I can drown my sorrows in beer to and pretend i'm having a good time.

(b) The voting period will run from Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 12 p.m. MT to Friday, October 4, 2013 at 12 p.m. MT.
(c) The Calgary Flames new goal song will then be revealed upon the Flames scoring their first regular season home goal at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
I really like that they're letting the fans decide, and seem to be doing it in the right manner.
Personally I wouldn't mind them using the classic Elvis Costello pump-up song. Start from 2:12 to get the idea.
Here's a classic that the opponents could really start to hate, cowboy themed so would fit nicely in Calgary. Plenty of good versions out there, just throwing out the one I think is the best.
If singing "these boots are gonna walk all over you" part would catch on (which people tend to do anyway), that would be damned awesome
I think this would work the best:
The perfect part starts from around 1:50
Quote:
You keep playing where you shouldn't be playing
And you keep thinking that you'll never get burnt (Hah!)
Well, I've just found me a brand new box of matches (Yeah!)
And what he knows you ain't had time to learn
These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.
I don't see how you can upgrade much from those lyrics

Whoa, relax there leader of the Fall Out Boy fan club... And no, it has nothing to do with dub step, but good observation.

AC, could you please do a mockup of the chorus from Fall out boy - My songs know what you did in the dark/Light em up in a game scenario? I think it would be perfect, but I'd like to hear it in a game scenario to confirm it.
