Just drove past memorial on Deerfoot and the water is pretty close to the edge. Wouldn't be shocked if Deerfoot is closed tomorrow morning.
And people are stopped taking pictures. What a bunch of clowns.

Anyone know if there are any updates on the boil water advisory? Or is there a boil water advisory?

I am with DESS on this one, just stay home.
I feel slightly sick in saying that.

If a bridge could thump it's chest and say "WHAT?!" ... that's how it would look.

I am so not familiar with DT anymore. Got an American friend whose company has offices DT, asking about this place - Canbriam Energy Inc. 3500, 450 1st Street S.W - I just said that I looked at a map and to assume that building will be closed down and they won't be going in tomorrow.

Bunk, you're doing a great job keeping people updated on twitter with vital information and working hard for the city this late into the night. Thanks.
If you ever run for Mayor when Nenshi moves aside, you got my vote.

Thank god I can work remotely tomorrow. Even if I head in for noon, it will (hopefully) be way less of a cluster#### than at 7:30.

ALL SCHOOLS in Calgary are closed tomorrow if they are part of the CBE or Calgary Catholic system.

From what I know about the 2005 floods, and the way this one is looking, its probably not a bad idea to get a supply of water now, in the event that you need it.
The rivers are extremely silty and its only going to get worse in managing the treatment.

That's TransCanada Tower, where Sunterra is
Yeah that'll be flooded too.
