Glad Maestro is #1 on that list.

lol @ Joey Stylez. That's some of the wackest stuff out there. I would've replaced him and a few others on that list with anyone from Bomb Shelta Association (in particular Shylow), but I guess they're not too well known even though they've been recording since the mid to late 90's.

Yes, yes you should. Here's some tracks I posted by him earlier in this thread.

Ugh...
It's better to fail in Originality than to succeed in Imitation.

I've never been a huge 2Pac fan. 99% of his beats were downright unlistenable. I've always thought that if he was under the guidance of someone else other than Suge Knight, he might've grown into an even larger public figure and may have never become an a-hole later in his career.

Am I offended by the cover? Maybe a little bit, but not enough to care. If it was Rick Ross, Drake, and Meek Mill with their faces on the classic 3 Feet and Rising album, then yeah, I'd be miffed for sure.

What a joke Wayne is one of the worst rappers there is. PAC is a legend and the greatest ever his imitation of him is a disgrace.

Never heard of Shad before, but just listen to We, Myself and I. Awesome song!

You think that's bad. At the NBA all-star weekend he said that he was the new Pac (Right after dissing the Miami Heat and saying he slept with Bosh's wife). I'm not a huge fan of 2pac like PMM said, i think he's fairly overrated, but Lil Wayne is NOWHERE close to his level. The guy has dropped trash after trash after trash.

My playlist tonight reminded me that DL Incognito should have been on that top 25 list that CBC compiled.

Going through music this morning and remembered how much I loved this album. I'm in the minority for this one probably?

Yeesh. I was never a huge fan of Jay-Z but this is pretty damn shameful:

"How much of Biggie's rhymes is gonna come out your fat lips?"

I've always like Lil Wayne but more so back when he was in hot boyz, the carter 1 was ok and the carter 2 was meh. Funny thing is he shot himself in the foot when rapping for Baby to get a deal.

Yikes, that is a lot!!! Some of those are obvious tribute lines though, like the Snoop Dogg one, he's not biting that but making an obvious play on it.

I'm not a big Jay-Z guy either but I do respect his ability (he doesn't write his lyrics down on paper) and his business sense is top notch.

Personally, there's no way D-Sisive, k-os, or Classified should be below freakin' Drake. That pisses me off.

Other than that, I'd be inclined to put Shad in the no. 1 spot, but if you think back about Maestro, he's a pioneer on the Canadian Hip Hop scene, so I'm okay with that.
Am I weird for wondering why Madchild isn't on that list?

Not at all, he should be top 15 IMO! Even Prevail should have made the list.
