If you take out that game against Boston...Irving played pretty good.

1-2-3 with a 2.33 GAA and 0.931 Sv%

I think the numbers are around that. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

I'm relieved that Kipper is day to day, but I wasn't too worried about it being long-term anyway. And it will be interesting to see Irving play for a couple of games as I didn't think that we'd see him start much or at all in this shortened season.

No one ever said I was a smart man.

Also, SebC is smelly.

What are you talking about "Bogus claims"

FACT - Kipper's shootout record all-time is 23 wins 37 Losses

FACT - This record ranks among worst of any active goalie in the NHL

FACT- Kipper's shootout save percentage is .600

FACT - This ranks 56th among active goalies.

The only thing bogus is your BS statement. Here's the link with all the stats that support my "bogus" claim.

Lol, I like Mitch. I thought he was pretty funny during the Flames PPV segments. The best one was when Prusty was teaching him how to fight on the ice. It made me realize just how hard fighting is on skates, and how much better these guys were at it than the average person. Prust would have worked Nybo if it was a serious fight.

The combination of Kipper being day-to-day and us burning a contract makes me think that it's something that's not too serious but that could linger. Most likely a groin injury in my completely uninformed opinion. With those, you can think you're fine one day, then be too tight to be useful the next, so it's a good idea to have a 3rd stringer ready.

I'd rather not be replacing Kipper with one of the three guys in the NHL with an even lower save percentage.

This, in the post I was quoting, thought it was pretty obvious.

Kiprusoff hasn't missed a game due to injury since January 2004 (18 games) @jamiemclennan29 replaced him
