Disposal of expired bear spray, how does one go about it properly?
I seem to recall the store copied down the serial number when I bought it and I'd hate for that to come back and bite me in the arse.

9 yrs of my and me kids using them ain't never have trouble. Of course, if you ram 12 of them down in one go then yeah it will clog, but if you ram down half a roll of TP then it will clog as well.

You could try the Vancouver board on Reddit...I go to my local reddit board to talk about local things like that.

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with your user profile. Either you've changed your email address or something else changed? You might need to go back in and save your profile info again. I'm pretty sure this happened to me way back when after I changed my email address.

Yeah, I don't know what that dude is talking about. I've used one wet wipe for every crap I've ever taken in my 35 years. That's about 13,000 wet wipes down the toilet and I've plugged the toilet 0 times as a result. My whole family uses them, too (kids, parents, etc.).

How can it expire?
If you shoot it at the bear, he gives you the finger and says "Your bear spray is expired. It doesn't bother me a bit. I'm going to eat you now."

Actually, found out last year that an entire roll of TP will flush if you let it sit for a few hours.

It becomes less effective to the point where your are lightly seasoning the bear, not pepper spraying it.

Hmm. I thought it had to do with the propellant ability to spray a safe distance so that you are not required to do hand-to-hand combat to get the bear spray close to the bear.

If you're using bear spray, you're already going to be in hand-to-hand combat range.

There is a guy in my secure parkade that used a club on his 2004 Alero. With dozens of other way more expensive cars i think your Alero is fine. He has since bought a Crossfire and still uses the club.

Way more expensive cars generally have more anti-theft measures, and stand out quite a bit more while joyriding...

Anybody know this one? I'd like to know whose sports opinions I'm listening to every morning, and they simply refer to him as coach. I've tried a google search but to no avail. Maybe it's just some random schmuck.

To get rid of bear spray you need to fill a large container or tub style sink with water. Hold the can under water and release. If you feel your arm burning a bit drain the water and go again. Once empty just toss them.
We dispose of a fair number of them either because they are expired or someone left them in their truck in the winter. (once frozen they supposedly don't work)
