I am 36, and I would bet if you polled 100 people my age, maybe 10% of the people would have ever heard of them. Fairly well acclaimed within a genre, what ever that genre is. I am not for one second pissed off they played the game. Never said that anywhere. I just didn't like what I saw or heard. Willie Nelson could have played, and I would not like that either because I don't like country even though he is very well acclaimed, but I wouldn't be pissed off. Just as I didn't like it, there was some people that did.
Had Iron Maiden came out, and busted off Rime of The Ancient Mariner, Sign of the Cross, and Children of the Damned, I may have very well imploded in a giant musicgasm. While half of the stadium would have thought that sucked balls. You cannot please everyone.
However, at the end of the day. I WAS THERE TO WATCH A HOCKEY GAME, NOT LISTEN TO A BAND.
