Quite sad when money can buy love.

If the allegations are true against young Tiger, I'd have to think she would get more than a petty sixty mil anyway, wouldn't she? I can't imagine ANY woman signing a pre-nup that includes the phrase: "...even if I fata around on you".

She also received an immediate $5M signing bonus.

This morning, the Daily Beast website released the numbers. According to its unnamed source, Woods agreed to immediately transfer $5 million into Nordegren's personal account.

Hah!! I like this quote from Jesper Parnevik at the end of that article:

"I really feel sorry for Elin – since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with (Woods)," Parnevik told the Golf Channel on Wednesday. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her."

This is just getting really bizzare to me... I mean signing a contract for 2years/$60million? Does that fit under the salary cap? Just a wierd way to work it out... Given how greedy she (appears) to be at the moment, I can't see this lasting much longer. Tiger absolutley screwed up, but if she really loved him, I highly doubt she'd be asking for a 2 year contract...wtf.*

*thats assuming all the gossip mags are right about this too.

An accurately comical analysis of the women involved from Ashley Dupre, of Eliot Spitzer fame:

First of all, these gals are taking money and gifts while seeing a high-powered celeb, the infamous escort griped yesterday to The Post. Then, they're blabbing all about it in exchange for money.

Hey, who's ho-ing now?

"My case in point," the call-girl-turned-singer/author/model wrote The Post in a text message yesterday.

"Here you have all these girls accepting gifts, money, trips from Tiger in exchange for sex -- all the while knowing he is married.

"And now they all can't wait to tell their stories in exchange for even more money from the tabloids?

"And I was the hooker? At least I kept my mouth shut."

Jesper Parnevik takes more shots at Tiger:

"I have lost all respect for him, primarily as a man and a father. It doesn't even feel like it matters what he has done on the golf course. My respect for him as a person is gone."

And Golf Digest Magazine's new issue cover story is "The Top 10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger."

"And I was the hooker? At least I kept my mouth shut."

This is the best line to come out of this mess all week. Tiger and his mistresses - none of them look very good.

What is another $60 M worth to Elin? You can't possibly spend that much money. You can't put a price on your self-respect.

Apparently, that's wrong. Elliot Spitzer had it right - in the end, hookers are always cheaper.

Jesper Parnavik is an idiot. Whats the point in piling on a guy who is one of your peers (and one of your friends?). Whats his motivation here?

I'm not saying Tiger has done the right things but to just come out there and publicly slam the guy further seems unneccessary. Hopefully someone digs up some dirt on Jesper too. Usually those who pass the heaviest judgement have the most to hide.

I think that out of all the crap that's been flung over the past week, Jesper's comments were among the most genuine. He obviously cared about this girl, and is hurt that she's hurt. I don't think he's got any motivation other than to say 'WTF Tiger?'

She used to be his childrens nanny and he was the guy who introduced them. They have a long history together and what he sounds like is a father of a woman wronged...which i suspect is very much what their relationship is like. In fact IIRC, Elin's twin sister is still one of the Parneviks child carer.

I am a bit taken aback by a lot of the posts here however...a bit of a "holier than thou" vibe going on. Uber-rich, prime of his life, adored/iconic athelete strays from his wife.. happens every day and has since the dawn of time. Doesn't make it right nor condonable, but this stuff happens WAY more than it doesnt.

Tiger is human, not a deity.

Humans are fallible.

I'd rather not have to hear about the private lives of any other famous people, much less a c-list golfer like Jesper Parnevik. Besides, could any dirt be worse than his clothing?
