No kidding..............I think swingers have some of the strongest relationships. They dont have typical jealous hang ups like most people.

Monogamy works for some, but not for others. I'm leaning into the second camp; I can't imagine a married life where two people just don't want to sleep with each other anymore or have exhausted all their options together.
That said, if you can make it work with one person for 40 or 50 years, kudos to you.

From what I can tell, one partner (usually the Husband) is keen on the swinging, and the other partner is there very reluctantly.

Ah, she'll come around.
IMO there's no difference between a wife saying someone else's name in bed and actual swinging itself. It's just that your marriage is strong enough to actually go through with it physically when you swing.

I have no doubts that occurs, but I watched an hour long documentary on swingers, and the interviewees seemed quite down to earth and honest. They mostly had a "meh..you only live once" kind of vibe.
The couples would typically stay together and spend time with others or in groups during the events, and after the party was over they go home and live a totally normal life.
They just haven't been brainwashed by our marriage crazy culture.

There are different types from what I can tell. There is the old school, keys in the bowl and pair off method, but on the show I watched it seemed to be open season. The couples often stayed together and just basically had group sex......
There were "party by-laws" they called them, about asking permission to join a group and many others I cant recall at the moment.

So here's another question then, if a chick says she's down with a threesome, but only if you can find the "right" girl (aka slightly less hot than girl 1), where the hell do you start? She's not interested in someone you already know. I've had this discussion with my buddies, and it's pretty tough to figure out.
