This I agree with. Dos Equis is amazing--love the amber. At mexican restaurants down in the US it's almost as cheap as Pepsi--hyperbole yes, but still.

Bud... Light... Lime...
Because Bud and Light weren't weak and crappy enough yet, they felt the need to add lime.

Couldn't you just add lime cordial to regular Bud Light?

Had it last week when I was in Florida. It was good, but I wouldn't go crazy over it. Like others have said, it tastes like beer with a lime added.
In fact, I prefer the real lime because you get that mostly beer taste, followed by a strong tinge of lime flavour - rather than simply lime-flavoured beer.
I'll probably buy some when it becomes available, but it's certainly not something I could drink all the time.

I agree. Worst beer ever made. Its on the same level as Smirnoff Ice and various other coolers... girls will like it, but I'm going to think less of any man that drinks it.

Ill be in Calgary from Mar 19-24th. I could probably sneek a few in the suitcase if anyone wants to catch up with me. I'll be at the games on Friday (Blues) and Monday (Red Wings) before returning to Quad City.

It isn't as weak as you think.

Even if it is of roughly the same potency, US beer still tastes like arse. The only halfway decent beer that tastes good from the US that I've tried is Lagunitas IPA (California brewery). Forget all the Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors light, Miller, Miller lite, Sam Adams, MGD, Michelob, Moose Drool, etc. They all taste like watered down crap you get in Brazil. The US loves to gloat about their microbreweries and would like to try some to see how they are because I'm open minded but for they are the worst Northern hemisphere beer nation on earth. A dozen beers tried and only 1 decent one.
For the record, the world's best beer comes from Belgium
For Canadian brews, I like Cutthroat by Tree brewing, Kokanee gold, Grasshopper, Sleeman's honey brown, Sleeman's clear, both Keith's and Rickard's white, red and honey brown.

Aside from Sam Adams, which I'm not a fan of either, it's like coming up to Canada and saying all the beer is crap because you've tried Canadian, Blue, 50, Bud, Coors Light, Black Label, Molson Golden, etc and they all taste like watered down crap.

Then you should try some. There are plenty available but since they vary from region to region, you don't hear about them like you do with the mainstream big brewery beers.
