Bud Light Lime
Howdy,
I don't post much but just wanted to let everyone know that bud light lime is excellent beer. I'm in Houston and have gone through a handful of these tonight... Wish they were sold in Canada... Plus they are 4.2%, pretty good for an american beer...
Mnnn.....
Also, cars are so cheap here I can't believe it. Anything American is nearly free..

I must vehemently disagree. Perhaps the worst beer I've ever had in my life, and I do attempt to try them all. Like Corona mixed with that squeezable lime juice and some simple syrup mixed in. Wouldn't wish that beer on anyone.
But I guess glad you liked it.
Pardon me as I go drink some Rye and try to forget the evil that was Bud Light Lime.

If its anything like Miller Chill... its gotta be good...
Since Budweiser beers have a much larger Canadian presence than Miller beers do... I'd have to assume its coming for the summer.

I thought Miller Chill was nasty.
Just buy some Dos Equis special lager and sink a lime wedge into it. 50X better.

To each their own... I personally find dos equis to be repulsive.
Either way, you'd think there would be a market for either or both Chelada style lagers up here.

Please keep in mind the way Americans and Canadians measure alcohol in a beverage is different.
In Canada it is alcohol by volume in the US it is not. 4.2% for them is not 4.2% for us.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_by_volume
It isn't as weak as you think.

Just for clarity, it has to be this one....

I had a couple when in Vegas. Outside on a baking hot day, they are alright; but to me they tasted like a lime slush that had melted. I really didn't notice the beer in it.

I had a "mojito" in Drumheller on the May longweekend. It was basically flavored beer - not that good.

Bacardi Silver Mojito is the first spirit flavored malt beverage with the perfect combination of cool mint, fresh lime together in one convenient package. This dramatic line extension for Bacardi SILVER captures the taste profile of the increasingly popular Mojito
Target 21-34 year old male/females and contemporary adults seeking the Mojito cocktail experience.

I will drink any kind of beer that is put in front of me, and that includes Big Bear, Lucky, the entire Mountain Crest family of suds, Co-op Gold, AGD, Black Label... and yes, I believe I would drink this lime-flavored beer as well. It's a wonder, given my beerphilic attitude, that I don't have the world's largest beer gut. I wasn't even mad the time I was at the Stampede and had to pay clsoe to $10 for a bottle of that watery Brahma crap.

Where did you pick those up? In Drumheller, or back in Calgary?
My girlfriend and my dad's girlfriend loved those in Florida and would llike to get their hands on them up here too.
I kind of have my doubts that the 21-34yr old male targets are legitimate though... Its predominantly a chick drink... I would wager most men who want "the mojito experience" will make themselves an actual rum based mojito, aside from a few who try it.

I once had a strawberry beer at a pub downtown, it was amazing. I'd like to try the lime, because I know lime and ginger ale and beer is quite nice.

I don't mind the two beers at Brewsters with fruit floating in them. It could be because I am easily entertained and enjoy watching the fruit float up and down...

Thats what I thought. I didn't think you meant the amber one.
Maybe I just got a bad one (green glass bottles = no good), but it was not very good at all. Repulsive might have been a strong word. I'd still drink it if thirsty and offered it, but I wouldn't buy it.
Of course, I like the Miller and Budweiser brews (amongst many others), so adding the lime to Miller suited me well, and I'm sure it will to Bud Light.

Brewsters? They have an interesting strawberry if I recall right. Also a good blueberry beer.
