To give the backdrop to this particular play, we were playing 6 men (I was in goal). The score was 2-2 going into OT. The game had been a little sloppy. I had let in a goal that had bounced off the backboards and was tipped in between post and pad when we were up 2-1. StMerc kept passing into the goalie's pads on offense, and Koop was having a less stellar game than usual at the blue line.

Then this happened:

http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/2922426

The broadcast view doesn't quite do it as much justice as a closer view could have done, but it was (in Joborule's words) a 'sick sequence'. The desperation save, followed by the OT winner on the ensuing rush couldn't have been scripted better. It was sweet redemption for what was for the most part an 'ordinary' game.

Being a part of a play like this one, is what makes this game so much fun.
video has been posted on the fatas site. i found a pretty painless way of ripping the video and posting it to the site. so if there are any others you guys would like posted, we could start a good archive of them.

just get me the url of the EA page and i can do the rest.

i have been informed you have been added to the club. (i didnt do it myself as i am not signed on) please feel free to add me (dobbles81) on your psn. i have become the honorary GM and try to keep track of everyone. though it hasn't been such a big deal recently as we are down to a core group of people that play on a regular basis.

i believe you still are. i trimmed a few people off that played 1 or 2 games and never came back, but you should still be on the team.

Is there any way to know in game when people are online playing? Or do you have to use the Playstation Network?

I'm still getting used to everything the PS3 can do.

if you have ppl added to your PSN friend list, it will show you who's online and who's not, as well as what game they are playing (if any)

From the online menu, go to community, view player hub. Hold L1 and scroll down once. Your address book will load up. From here, hold R1 and scroll until you highlight club teammates. You can view who's online from there.

It's the DNS dobbles, I changed to the OpenDNS servers and they still had your site's IP cached so I could access the site no problem, but my ISP's DNS did not. If you dig or nslookup cpfatas.com you will see what I'm talking about. No entry.
