It seems like if you guys don't mind not having a super-decked out clubhouse, I could still go ahead and create it. If it costs a couple bucks for the premium clubhouses, and they are a big improvement, then I might pay for it.
If you don't mind a free one, I'd like to set it up.

I'd probably donate some $ if the clubhouses were cool.

There's also a 35 person limit but that should be fine. We have around 40 on our fata roster with 5 people with less then 10 games played.

yeah, our roster has declined a bit as i bumped some people that never played or hadn't signed onto psn in 60+ days... i know we aren't hurting for space anymore, but it also seems silly to have them on the roster if they don't even play.

It seems like forever since I've played this game. Less than a week until I have some more free time though. I'd love to play some more games.

I'm going to be having the last couple weeks of the month off so I'll try to play a few more games myself.
Maybe I can get to the point of not being terrible again.
A club would be sweet too.

Inbetween L4d and WoW, I'm probably going to be an intermittent weekend player. I think this weekend will be a good time to rack up my PIM's and games played. (Pretty sure I've been passed by now.)

though jobo and i are close, i think you still might have the lead... i am getting close thanks to all my fighting majors. though it there was an category for 2 minute minors, you would have a much bigger lead!

Well, out of the 20 fighting majors I have I do guess I have over 400+ for those minor penalties. Interference/hooking/tripping/high-sticking along with a few delay of games really adds up. Also doesn't help that I just use the powerforward/grinder archetype as well, those are really prone to penalties. I'm just surprised I don't get called for goalie intereference more.

yeah, i think i am up to something like 45 or 50 fights... definitely makes the penalty minutes look a lot worse! i might cut down on fights in hopes of making my team play rating better. though that doesn't much matter since i doubt i will ever get the last upgrade.
sidenote - fatas site was being dumb earlier. its fixed for me, but if its not coming up for you guys, give it time.

Hey guys,
Well my goal drought ended with a 2 goal game! I uploaded a video of the OT winner, which came from a great pass by Igitang! Igi, Igi, Igi! Oy, oy, oy!
http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/2695715
I was pretty happy with that!

i posted this over at the site so you guys have some warning, but there is an ice storm on its way tonight and theres a very good possibility i will lose power and the site will be down.
it isn't getting here till tonight but if the outages are widespread, the site could be down for a couple days. if it does go down, and i find out details, i will post to this thread so you guys know. i apologize in advance, but so goes life. i could try to move it back over to an externally hosted server, but too much work in the long run if the power stays on.
like i said, just a warning and we will hope for the best.

There is a tradition in this thread to post commentaries of some great plays, and some great games. This is one of those posts.
To give the backdrop to this particular play, we were playing 6 men (I was in goal). The score was 2-2 going into OT. The game had been a little sloppy. I had let in a goal that had bounced off the backboards and was tipped in between post and pad when we were up 2-1. StMerc kept passing into the goalie's pads on offense, and Koop was having a less stellar game than usual at the blue line.
Then this happened:
http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/2922426
The broadcast view doesn't quite do it as much justice as a closer view could have done, but it was (in Joborule's words) a 'sick sequence'. The desperation save, followed by the OT winner on the ensuing rush couldn't have been scripted better. It was sweet redemption for what was for the most part an 'ordinary' game.
Being a part of a play like this one, is what makes this game so much fun.
