Man walks up to random person on the street:
Man: I hate the way you live your life and you don't have the right to be who you are.
Random Person: #### you
Man: Hey, calm down, I'm just trying to start a conversation here.

Going to vent or whatever a bit more. About my anecdote. Just because I need.
These relatives have a brilliant, driven 19yo daughter who has just started her second year of biomedical engineering, who has also been pre accepted into into a medicine program after undergrad. I asked her mother yesterday (the person who asked about the moment of silence) what she thought charlie would have thought about that - because we know what he would say:
-that she was DEI, and taking the place of a more qualified student (male).
- that she should be going to Mrs school, because all she really wants (or should be doing) is finding a husband and having white babies - and she should learn to do this properly.
- that when she becomes a doctor, someone like charlie will expect she is not qualified because she is a women
What I cannot understand is the incredible disconnect from reality. And that's the part that leaves me lacking hope for the immediate future.

It's a cult. Kirk was a modern preacher. just the medium is different, podcasts, social media and college campuses.

I think we can use judicial recognition to conclude that Charlie Kirk made hateful statements. No proof is required.

"Kirk thought black people didn't deserve the civil rights movement"
I can't find where he ever said or implied that black people didn't deserve the civil rights movement - does Acey have a link to support that claim?
From what I've been able to find, Kirk emphasizes meritocracy and colorblindness. His criticism of the civil rights act was that he believed it enabled government overreach and weaponized DEI. He was clearly anti-DEI, as many people are today, because of the belief that it undermines meritocracy, and makes for racial fixation.
Here's a short clip where a black male asks Kirk "you've said that the civil rights act was a mistake - what did you mean by that?". If you want to hear Kirk's answer himself.

Kirk - "the intent is noble, which is to say that no american can be not allowed into a place of business based on the color of their skin or their ethnic heritage. Totally in agreement with that."

lol Bill Maher. Bill Maher is an absolute clown who has been falsely both sidesing it for a few years now. He’s also constantly attacked the left from the “left.” And, he’s done nothing but mainstream vile extremists by platforming them on his show. Dude’s a tool just looking for more revenue.

He meant the advocates, not the audience.
AOC and Bernie had the Fight Oligarchy Tour, but that's very rare.
But even they are the politicians, not the advocates.
Dems/the left crushed Bernie for going on Rogan years ago, so no one on that side of the aisle, regardless of how far they stood from the aisle, decided it was worth going on his podcast and facing that level of backlash from their allies. Now that he has a massive audience, it's "you have to go on his podcast!", which flies in the face of their history of burying people who have gone on his podcast. If no one from the left will go on, who does that cede the field to? They did it to themselves.
We go back to this

You can't just throw out the entire history of US race based discrimination and expect a colour blind new reality to do anything but continue to repress those that have been discriminated against in the past. It's one of those evil positions that sounds completely rational on it's surface that hides the reality of not actually correcting the very issues that cause inequality in the first place. It's not like you declare colour blind policies, and suddenly everyone is on an equal playing field. DEI is an attempt to get there by attempting to address some of those issues, but all the people on the top can do is cry about how it discriminates against them. I think normalizing "DEI is bad" has been one of the most subtly evil things the right has done, because it's been such an easy sell to so many.
Beyond that, you can't just ignore what he's said about black people being less thans. Well, you can, because that's how Charlie always "debated". Any time someone got close to confronting him on it, he changes the subject.

He also said stuff like “I’m not a bad guy but…” or “…but I’m not a bad guy!” before and after he pushed his hate-inspired rhetoric so it’s actually fine.

So, you guys think Utah Valley should change their sports team name to the Assassins to honor Charlie?

He repeatedly stated children dying in school shootings was just the price the 2nd amendment and happily grifted off that take, so yes unequivocally.
