Just wanted to express how grateful I am that some posters are tirelessly refuting point after point presented by the anti-vaxxers of this thread. It is mostly done very well, and often with more patience than it probably deserves.



I'd love it if one of the anti vaccine posters could actually debate the efficacy of the vaccines in good faith. Put aside the scary government overstep and nazi regime rising from the shadows garbage, and debate that one singular point. There really isn't any ground to stand on. Frankly it wouldn't require any government oversight at all if everyone took a long and honest look at the stats. These stats are readily available and with gigantic sample sizes of your much more empathetic brethren doing their small bit for everyone else.

First off I am NOT anti-vax. I wanted to get the AZ the second I was eligible. BUT!! I also have an immune-compromised system (thanks Chrons/UC) and was told by my doctor to not get the shots until he lets me know to do so. I talk with him every week and harass him can I go now? To date the answer is still no. SO I am unvaccinated. I also very rarely leave home now as I do not want to be a part of the issue going forward.

All that being said I fully support this move by CSEC and the NHL in general. DO I want to see the Flames at the Dome? Of course I do. Am I willing to stay home to not cause any further spreads as I am a vector for such until such time as my GI doc says I can get vaccinated? Also yes. It sucks major Donkey Choade for me, but such is the way of life when you put the health and well fare of others ahead of being a self centered entitled POS.

Also I would like for everyone to stop lumping those of us who can not have the vaccine with the Anti Vax idiots. If I could I already would have, believe you me. Not everyone is doing that, but I have seen enough people assuming that unvaxed = Antivax and that simply isn't true.
