Default Rank the flames from most liked to least liked

I’m curious as to which players currently on the team are most liked by us as a collective and who we like the least (dislike the most)..

Wolf
Parekh
Coleman
Cooley
Coronado
Klapka
Honzek
Andersson
Kuznetsov
Backlund
Bahl
Bruz
Zary
Frost
Lomberg
Weegar (nice guy but too many blatant giveaways for me)
Farabee (just doesn’t do anything for me)
Hanley (meh)
Pachal
Bean (meh)
Kirkland (love the personality and the story but hate the player)
Huberdeau (at least his teammates like him)
Kadri (hate how he stops trying)
Sharangovich (pretty useless player to me besides the very rare goal)

Are we basing it off personality or on ice play? For example, I thought Kuzmenko was awesome, but his play left me as frustrated as anyone. I mostly went off GAF meter combined with production/entertainment value.

--- Fun to watch on a nightly basis
Andersson
Pospisil
Gridin
Coleman
Wolf
Backlund
Parekh

--- Mostly fun, some consistency issues
Weegar
Zary
Coronato
Kuznetsov
Kadri
Kerins
Brzustewicz
Bahl
Cooley

--- Vanilla
Farabee
Honzek
Morton
Frost
Klapka
Huberdeau
Hanley
Pachal
Sharangovich
Lomberg
Hunt
Stromgren

--- I prefer someone else in the lineup
Bean
Kirkland
Miromanov
Beecher

I think I just went off of overall. Some combination of NHL performance plus personality.

Parekh - only player I would pay to see
Wolf - awwooo!
Cooley - feel good story
Coronado - want to see him pop 50 with a 1st line center
Klapka - interesting mutant with potential

Lomberg - gutsy

Weegar - cares too much, a 3 on a good team
Kuznetsov - quietly goes about his business, a 6 on a good team.
Bahl - good size, a 6 on a good team.
Bruz - too soon

Coleman - tradebait. Love what he brings
Backlund - career loser. Good player for losing teams.

Andersson - tradebait
Kadri - Clutch. Like VERY clutch. Also a puck hog. Occasionally known to quit when it isn't going his way.
Sharangovich - really happy to be a multimillionaire not in Eastern Europe.

Zary - hurtbag
Honzek - hurtbag

Frost - doofus
Farabee - doofus

Hanley - bubble
Pachal - bubble
Bean - AHL
Kirkland - AHL
Huberdeau - motivator flooded with money

Matt Coronado is currently in the lead, and I'm curious to see if that changes by the time this conversation is finished.

Then everyone else. He just seems like the best person.

Starts with Coleman for me.

Dude's just a winner all-around and well-spoken.

Can see him transition into other hockey roles very well after retirement, perhaps media.

OK, ranking the flames from most to least liked:

1. The flame from an oxyacetylene torch. Those are pretty damn cool.

2. The flame on a charcoal barbecue. I love the way it flares up when a bit of fat from the meat drips on it. Plus, it means food!

3. The flame on a propane barbecue. Close, but not quite the same. Also means food, which is still good.

4. Bunsen burners. As a kid, I liked adjusting them until they gave that really hot blue flame that was practically invisible, but you did not want to get your fingers anywhere near it.

5. Logs burning in a fireplace.

6. Yule logs burning on video. OK, it's not a real flame, but you don't have to pay for firewood or clean up the fireplace afterwards. Sort of like the difference between playing hockey and watching other people play it on TV.

7. Barbecue lighters are handy, plus they mean food is coming eventually.

8. Zippos are fun to play with, until it's time to change the flint.

9. Matches are fun to play with until you burn your fingers.

10. Bics are boring and just sort of there. But they get the job done.

11. Candlelight can be nice.

12. Tea lights, not quite so much, because they don't last.

13. Scented candles. I mean, WTF? Does somebody actually get their jollies by setting perfume on fire? The room stinks for hours afterwards. Phew.

14. The flame in something I did not want to burn up after playing with one of the other kinds of flame, especially #1 above.

15. Fire on the stove. This means no food, and is a Bad Thing.

16. Like #14, but it's my house that's on fire.

17. My least favourite flame, the one burning in my guts after I eat tacos with salsa that was way, way, way too hot. Or vindaloo, whichever. One of these days, my intestinal flora are going to take Mexico and India to court for war crimes.

lol why does it have to be a high school girls thing? I’m just interested in gauging the temperature for players in our team and see if I’m way off or not

I’ve (sadly) become extremely apathetic about this team the past few years. I don’t really have anyone I actively dislike on the team.

My favourite Flame is Wolf but there’s really no competition right now. I’m really looking forward to the draft, getting a new player, and rekindling my excitement for the team because the past few years I haven’t really been invested like I used to be.
