dube, fox are close due to high skill. Edge to Dube, given that size can prove to be a bigger obstacle for smaller dmen.

I believe in the Jays.

Same as last round it should be one of Pollock, Fox, or Dube. I'll give it to Pollock... probably less upside then either Fox or Dube but he's entering pro hockey something that the other two are at least two years away from (if at all) and he probably has a higher floor as a pro.

For me, Dube and Fox are very close.
I went with Fox because he's winning. I also think he'll develop well in the NCAA.

If you're going by closeness, then I suppose.
If you're voting on upside the borderline 4th liner still has some way to go.

Going with Ryan "Macaulay" Culkin at this point, was higher or parallel to Kulak before a couple of injuries. Expect a bounce back year in the AHL and may challenge Wotherspoon and Kulak who were ranked 10th and 12th in this poll.

someone please explain how Ollas Mattson is rated so far behind Kylington/Andersson/Hickey... as it looks at this time he won't make the top-20 prospects.
I can understand that it might not be hockey talent and that somehow Kylington/Andersson had lost favor with the Swedish team selectors after being in the u-18 program and WJC tryouts They were not deemed as vital to team success as the 6 other players on the Swedish WJC team that were playing in North America
OM played every bit as well as Hickey at the WJC.
Is NCAA that much better than the SHL?
Do CP posters/voters have an anti-size bias? big=bad?

For me it's his footspeed and agility, meaning he looks clumsy at times when defending high skill players. From what I've seen he looks like the kind of defenseman who would get turned inside out by NHL forwards. If he gets better at it he could be a solid NHL player.

Some of it also has to do with sheer numbers. I find myself surprised by several of the players still on the board this late into the exercise.

I consider both. And also likelihood of making it.
A small, 18 year old 2nd round pick has more upside than Hathaway, but Hathaway is already an NHLer, and he is a very good 4th liner.
Conversely, the 2nd rounder has a 10-20% chance of being an NHLer.
Sure, if he makes it, a top 6er is far more valuable. But I factor down that value by the probability of making it.
Kylington: has shown progress, and sublime skating skills. So his stock is very high.
Fox is a 5'10" 18 year old. I look at his value as a top 6er x 10% (likelihood). He has to show me some progression before he's worth more than Hathaway in my mind.

I get what you're saying and I'm sure it's already been discussed.. but I've missed the last 8 rounds..so
I feel at this point Hathaway is the new Jooris. He's got the spot. Will likely be on the big club come the season opener and it his spot to lose at this point. So is he really considered a prospect anymore?
Edit: it's getting interesting now that guys are winning the round with 20% of the votes such as Pollock.
Fox, Dube, Ollas Mattson, Phillips and so on could all be tied with their potential to be impact NHL'ers. It's really down to matter of who follows or has seen more of what player.
Sure you could put E2 in that group too, but some could argue Carrol will have a great impact than Tuulola.

I've been convinced by Fox arguments. Tuulola can wait.
