Regardless of how unlikely it is that Karnaukhov comes over, he still has a higher chance of ever playing for the flames than Mattson. Mattson might be the worst prospect we’ve ever had

I don't think either guy is in the system anymore- Mattson was never signed. He probably doesn't hockey anymore.

Mattson was just at development camp. Was the best he's ever looked (very physical), but still not great.

Karnaukhov has already played more games of professional hockey than Mattson likely ever will.

Neither will likely ever play in the NHL.
