Well, if being right is important to you, you might want to learn the difference between an opinion and a fact - that will help your quest immensely.
Also, if you want to be 'right' about whether or not Draisaitl's contract will age well, you're going to have to wait a while - claiming you've scored a point on that front, when his contract hasn't even kicked in yet, really makes you look like a rocket surgeon. Come back in 6 years, and let us know if you were right.

Since I find your arrogant demeanor annoying, here you go.

They actually brought in legitimate top 6 wingers so maybe for the first time ever, they can actually separate McDrai for a prolonged period of time.
Also improves the team's 2nd PP unit. Arvidsson will help the PK as well.
|
Neither Arvidsson nor Skinner stuck as a top 6 winger. PK is worse than last year. Go ahead and admit you were wrong there.

Arvidsson is a whole level better than either player. With Savoie coming into the mix, they actually have an elite prospect that is going to be cost controlled for the next few years. If we had him in our system, the same people would be ecstatic.
|
Should we compare stats for the departed players to Arvidsson and Skinner? Wrong again. Savoie an elite prospect? Wrong again.

Sam Reinhart cooked on the PP last year LARGELY as a beneficiary of Barkov and Tkachuk. Watch the tape.

How's Reinhart looking this year? Last year still an outlier? Wrong again.

These are facts. But there are posters in this community who are allergic to them.

He's already missed that amount. That's a fact. So you're wrong again...see a pattern?
You can start with admitting you were wrong about all the above points.

Valuing being right while being an oiler fan.
Oof, must be punishing with the last decade of annual cup predictions and over-hyped prospects faceplanting.

Also you're not even right about Leon this year until he actually eclipses 100 points lol, nor about the 8 year extension since it hasn't even started?
0/2 but better luck next time.
"Wait and see" is oddly a foreign concept up north. I hope none of them are in the sciences because I don't think they'd do well with empiricism.

Disappointed at his progression in the AHL for sure. He's not translating as well as I and most others Bader, JFresh, Pronman etc... thought he would.

The Flames are in a rebuild...I don't really care to post. If you notice, I post more in the minor league forums and follow Sandman's updates religiously because....thats where the attention should be...IN A REBUILD.

See above. whats there to pity.
It's actually responses like this that actually solidly make me understand why Trump got re-elected. Same people tell their kids that winning isn't everthing because they feel they cant teach kids to be good winners.
Being right is everything in life. But when you're not right - you should have the emotional intelligence to say you were wrong.
So far- I've been right about Draisaitl. I've been wrong about Skinner and Arvidsson and Savoie.
Great entertainment for Sunday morning. Now off to check the prospects updates......because I'm an Oilers, Rangers fans and I should pity my existence.

So Mr. Flames Fan, what Flames prospects do you like/have a bold prediction for?
So far I've only seen impassioned tire pumping posts from you about:
-Draisaitl
-Savoie
-E. Kane
Time to earn your stripes.

Why even engage with him anymore? He's clearly a narcissist. Time to just ignore and move on.
