No to Lomberg please. He's 23 already, and clearly not cut out for the NHL. Plays a tough man's game but is listed at 5'9" and 190 pounds. He tried his style of play in the NHL and the big boys tuned him up good. He's a career AHLer.

Sveningsson again for me, for like the 5th round in a row too. Good progress so far with domination in the junior leagues, and is playing in the top Swedish league at 19. That's much better than his draft position would suggest. High skilled late pick with a decent NHL frame (6'0" and 180 pounds at a young age). He's got as good a shot at an NHL career as any on this list.

Surprised Fischer isn't getting a ton of love.

6'2, RH right winger who just got 36pts in 46gp

Not bad for a 5th round pick who is a local boy.

Think the problem is those stats are actually pretty poor for a 20 year old WHL season

As a CHL over-ager, thats not a particularly impressive stat line.

Went Zavgorodny. Super young for this years draft. Looked good in the offensive zone at development camp. Debated Pospisil because he looked good as well but considering Zavgorodny would have been in next years draft if he had been born a month and a few days later, I picked him.

Big boy Kassian DID NOT tune him up good. Lomberg ****** her. He has no fear and can hold his own. Great pest and agitator. Non stop motor. Very entertaining if nothing else.

They never really got started. Kassian lost his footing and the officials jumped in before he could really throw a decent punch.

However, this happened a few weeks later and I'm surprised Lomberg wasn't hospitalized after.

Listen, I applaud his courage, but the guy just isn't built to play that way in the NHL. I worry that he's going to get seriously hurt some day playing that way. He doesn't have nearly enough skill to stick in the NHL either, so yeah, not a big fan of Lomberg.

He lost badly again a few nights later as well. I'd be scared of what a guy like Reaves would do to him.

Pospisil again. I can’t believe Ryan Lomberg is going to beat him but that’s democracy.

To be fair Lomberg has something that none of these other players likely will never have. A point in the NHL.

At this point I am just guessing. Went with Roman, then Sveningsson.
