Their offence was dreadful in the first half, and their defence was pretty bad too in getting Bo Jackson'd.
I blame that first half on just not being prepared coming off Sunday. I mean, I'm totally biased because I am a Raider Hater, but give the Chiefs a week to prepare and they crush the Raiders easily IMO.

I thought I knew every thing about how horrible the Chiefs have been in history. Didn't know this one at all.

I kind of felt guilty last night. My poor seven year old son has really gotten into the Chiefs this year. I never pushed it, but he sits right beside me and watches the entire game. He is sitting beside me last night watching the Chiefs on their last possesion in his Alex Smith jersey and looks at me and says "Dad, I'm scared". Meaning he had the same butterflies I had, which is alot of the fun of being a sports fan. However, I felt awful thinking I have cursed this poor little guy into having a lifetime of heart ache (not so much in being a Chiefs fan, but a die hard sports fan in general). Reminded me of the Ken Burns documentary on Baseball "The 10th Inning", when the one guy looks over at his young son bawling his eyes out after the Sox blew another one to the Yankees, "what have I done?".

Yeah 2 Last minute Super bowl losses in the last 7 years is much more heart breaking on a young kid and likely to get him to hate sports and ultimately have a better life.

Or, thanks to the Chiefs? How can you provide the Raisers their only win of the season, while being the team who handed New England their worst loss.

As bad as the Saints were last week, I just don't see Atlanta walking into the Superdome and getting a W. They always struggle there. New Orleans has the much more manageable remaining schedule too, they're just finishing off the toughest stretch of their season tomorrow night.

I still think the Saints are the best bet to win the division, as ridiculous as that sounds.

Pats with PI in the end zone twice on a row not called.

Good to see NFL still giving them all the BS calls.

Well technically the Raiders didn't win on a Sunday, so that wheel isn't entirely accurate.

Not even close. Those were two well defended plays. The only thing Chung touched on the second play was the ball. All eyes were on Revis and Johnson on the first play and PI would have been called had it happened

Buck and Aikman have no problem pointing out bad or missed calls and they certainly didnt say anything, other than Fauria should have made the play.

Buck and Aikman also have zero problem pumping up the golden boys for the NFL.

Revis grabs Johnsons arm before the ball gets there, though Johnson should have actually made an attempt to catch the ball.

Chung puts his hands on Fauria's chest without looking back.

No big deal it is expected when facing the Pats that they will get away with PI all game long. Fauria and Johnson still should have made better attempts despite the interference.

The Pats were the most 2nd most penalized team in the NFL heading into this game... 1st if you include the 4 calls in this game, which puts them ahead of the Broncos.

You sound like the guy that called into CHED last night and blamed the officiating for a 7-1 oilers loss.

I don't blame the officials for the score the Lions are doing that to themselves all on their own. I just didn't like those two plays.

Im not sure what the bolded means if you aren't implying that the officials for some unknown reason are implicit in controlling the outcome of the game.

I don't like the Pats whatsoever, but there is no way they get any more or less calls on any given day than anyone else.

Im not even saying it as an NE defender. DPI calls have become a joke and Im usually glad to see them not called.

That was based on the fact the Pats have gotten away with PI for years and years now.

Lions are losing this game because they are playing like crap. That is on them nothing to do with the refs.

The Patriots have had an extremely tough schedule, and yet they continue to dismantle playoff teams (Broncos, Bengals, Colts), or at least contenders (Bears, Lions, Bills). That Monday night loss against the Chiefs is just a distant memory at this point.

I think they should sit Gronk with a few weeks left, if they've already clinched home field advantage. A healthy Gronkowski gives them the added offensive game-breaking threat they've been missing the last couple playoffs. I think they win it all if he makes it that far.

I can't wait for them to play the Packers next weekend. They can afford to lose the game (especially with it being played at Lambeau), but I am sure Brady, Belichick, and crew will be up for the test.
