No surprise. Thought they were going to take a shot at Green-Ellis when Ridley went down, but this is a better option.

Cannot believe most of you are picking the NFC South winner to get to 8-8 or even 9-7. Trust me having watched this division all year, 7-9 is the absolute limit for the winner. Consider that for Carolina, Atlanta and New Orleans, they have 11 wins combined. 4 have come against Tampa Bay.
That 5-11 or 5-10-1 scenario is very real, it can absolutely happen. I'd give it stronger odds than .500 or better for sure. This is easily the worst division in NFL history.

The Falcons are 4-0 in their divison, and I expect them to at least win one more of those. They are starting to somewhat figure it out, making me think they can at least pull back to .500.

Jets-Bills is going to be relocated. You'd have to think Toronto??
Edit- toronto ruled out. Gonna be detroit or washington.

The Falcons should get to 6 wins easily by winning the last two weeks against the Saints and Panthers. I expect the Falcons to beat the Browns this week as well.

yeah, sounds like the Jets-Bills game will be played on Monday, most likely in Detroit.
The game in Buffalo the following week against the Browns is also in doubt, that one might be in Toronto.

I guess the Chiefs showed who they really are. Can't be a contender and let Podunk drive 80 yards in 17 plays to win the game.

A loss to Oakland should disqualify you from the play-offs.
Although if that is what the Chiefs have to offer they likely will play their way out on their own.

Also Kansas City is now 1-4 all-time against winless teams that are 0-10 or worse. That's a staggering stat. Seriously. Think about that one for a minute. They've won 20 percent of their games all-time against teams that are SO BAD they've managed to start their season with 10 losses or more without a win.

Don't forget about the pathetic PI call to keep that drive rolling though. That was ridiculous. It's true that the Chiefs have to be better to be considered contenders, and they didn't deserve to win the game.

The NFL being the NFL: The 7-4 Chiefs make up 66% of the combined wins of the 2-8 Titans and 1-11 Raiders. Chiefs could easily be 9-2 or even 11-0, they also lost at the goal line to Denver and probably should have beaten San Francisco.

Yeah, it's frustrating to think what could be with the Chiefs. But that game had a bad feel for me right from the start. I don't know if KC will win against Denver, but I think they'll be considerably better than they were last night. Their offence was dreadful in the first half, and their defence was pretty bad too in getting Bo Jackson'd.
