If we can do a bit of cap gymnastics and Monahan keeps it up, I'd like to see something like:
Coleman-Backlund-Jarnkrok
Mangiapane-Monahan-Toffoli
Dube-Ruzicka-Lewis (or scratch one of them for Lucic)

Yup, Monahan was really solid defensively last night. With a little puck luck, he could had a couple goals and finished the night +3 or +4.
But he is so snake-bitten right now, he couldn't buy a goal.

That was why I left that place - the Flames fans were absolutely horrid, and I was convinced they were in fact, not fans.
I figured it was because they were outnumbered by Oiler fans so badly, for so long, that they just lost their will to even try to be fans.

At one point Monahan shot a nice great shot right into the goalie's five hole and all the announcers were asking "how did that stay out"......because it's 2021/22 Monahan. 3 years ago, everything he shot went in, now it's the opposite.

That goal was typical. It wasn’t even stopped by the goalie. It his the inside of his pads and bounced between them. Just incredible.

Just like the Canuck fans who tried to burn down their city weren't Canuck fans? Every fab base has their share of ass-hats, to pretend otherwise is ignorant. Some fan bases have waaaay more than their share though.

Apologies, thought you were being a bit sarcastic by commenting on his old line-mates having a good game.

I agree and I saw a comment by one of the posters after the Flames fan outed CP stating “we live rent free in their heads”. I struggle to see how laughing at the mental gymnastics they play trying to talk down the Flames is living rent free. We love to see the salt as it is the perfect seasoning for a fresh W

All that said, Gaskal posting their cross-section of gnashing of teeth and false hope for their own team is pretty good too.

No matter who the opponent is, I know the Oilers are capable of losing to them. Despite McDrai having immense talent, for whatever reason they prefer to play a fancy and complicated style as opposed to a straight line sort of game

Hey, they’ve finally figured it out
