Bugonia was a hell of a ride.

I need to catch up on Yorgos Lanthimos' filmography. Poor Things was outstanding, too.

The Lobster was good. I haven't seen Bugonia yet. Poor Thing was definitely oustanding.

It sounds like the Korean version is quite wild as well. I recall somebody saying it is on Tubi, so might be a good watch.

Watching a bit of Goldeneye. At the part when Onatopp and Mishkin go to the Russian base and steal goldeneye. They’ve murdered all the workers at the base.

They hear a noise and he sends Onatopp to investigate. The lady programmer has hidden in the ceiling vent. Onatopp enters what appears to be the break room and examines coffee on the ground and it’s still warm. This prompts her to believe someone has hidden in the vents…because why exactly?

Didn’t they just storm the base like 5 mins ago and murder anyone? Did she really think that after they murdered everyone, one of the employees was just chilling in the break room pouring a fresh cup of Joe? Like hey this is pretty terrible and all my coworkers have been murdered but I seriously can’t function without a hot cup of black coffee? Isn’t it more likely one of the people they just murdered dropped it when they started all the murdering?

Anyways. Can’t wait for project Hail Mary. Sounds like another home run for an Andy Weir adaptation.

I lock the door, get seated, and start the film and then proceed to watch until the final credit has rolled (actually can’t watch films on Netflix because the “up next” feature takes away from the experience the director and film designers have crafted for me).

It’s also disgusting to me that people “throw on” music while they’re driving, or working, or exercising. How could anyone appreciate being fully entertained and enveloped in a musical experience if they’re distracted by these worldly vices? Unimaginable.
Is it weird that this is actually pretty close to my normal routine when I watch movies?

Except for the drugs part. 4 mg of THC perfectly alters my state to a sufficient level to have a deeper appreciation for the film I’m about to experience.
