I dont even know if that deserves the 'bag on head' emoji.

I'd like to see a little more flexibility to make it so that the third round of games isnt entirely meaningless to some teams.

I mean, if at some point they want to double the size of the tournament some changes are obviously going to have to be made.

Bring back Silver Goal extra-time!

So essentially, England are through but not known whether in 1st or 2nd place yet.

England are a strange team to me.

This breakdown makes it clear that getting a draw today was just fine tactically; but I watch that and see a team (manager) who's settling for being just ok and lacking the desire to be elite.

As a country that always finished just outside the winning or loses a close game to eventual winners, surely this mentality needs to change.

I think they are doing this in 2026. 3 team groups.

Yeah that's the downfall. Spend 3 years qualifying and breaking the budget of some of these first time minnows associations, to travel and come to Canada or the US or Mexico, for 2 games in 5 days and total time in the country being just over a week or so, including training.
