Wales really needs England to score a couple goals here at least, don’t they?
If this current game ends in a draw, the only way Wales can advance is if they beat England by 4 goals, unless they score at least 6 goals, then they may only need to win by 3.

A loss does hurt the US. Then they don't control their own destiny and have to count on England getting a result against Wales which would be a meaningless game for England.

I believe in the Jays.

Foden would be the first name on the team sheet for every other country in the world, but can’t get a kick here.

Its the hair. That put him in Southgate's bad books.

I think Kane knocked out a cameraman behind the net with that header.

TAA I’m indifferent to, but agreed on Hendo. The last kick was a blatant tactically & cowardly ask to corner flag, clock kill. And the Americans needed that goal more than the English.

I think if there was one team in that match playing for the draw it wasnt the Americans.

England can draw wales now and go through correct? Unless the USA wins by like 5?

England is thru if they draw wales no matter what else happens.
If they lose to wales, then there are more possibilities for them to be eliminated. GD is first tiebreaker if tied on points so wales would need to win big.
I think.

England would have to lose by 4, and the other game would have to have a winner for England to be eliminated.
Or even more unrealistically, if Iran v USA was a draw, Iran and Wales could go through if England lost by 7.
So essentially, England are through but not known whether in 1st or 2nd place yet.
