I don't see the word "bacon" anywhere in here, so I know none of you have achieved the best Kraft Dinner like mine.

I had Annie's organic KD just yesterday... here is what I found, it was dry, organic and 3 times the price of KD. Both had about the same caloric count.

KD is just something you eat when your spirits are low and you have a buck. Don't try to make it better.

Half the milk, double the butter. No ketchup. No fancy stuff.

Box of KD
Half a cup of milk after you add the mystery cheese
And ketchup for flavor and colouring.
Sometimes dill for a different color.
Used to put hot sauce on but I would feel it for a couple days after.

When I was a kid my friends used to microwave it and then add a couple chopped up wieners and ketchup. Sort of like a KD-hot dog combo I guess. Luckily I never tried it

Best KD always starts and ends with their 'Sharp Cheddar' flavor.

First of all, Spirals > Macaroni. Instead of using milk, use heavy cream & a little extra butter. No ketchup, no weird spices. That's just...weird.

So my memory could be off, but how come 3R never had a gourmet night of Surferguy's KD? Or did I just pass out too soon that night?

Back when I lived on KD (early 20's), this was my recipe.

Only cook 75% of the noodles (throw out the rest).
Add powdered cheese.
Tiny bit of milk.
Lots of butter.
Dash of salt.
Dollop of Cheeze whiz.
Few drops of hot sauce.

If your fork doesn't stand up straight in the middle of the bowl, you failed miserably.

That was long before I was comfortable divulging my super tasty recipe.

I don't use any milk unless I have homo or cream. I use at least double butter, but I don't measure, I just put some in. Swish around the cheese mix.

Then I eat it with pepper and delicious, delicious, delicious ketchup.

I'm surprised people eat it "plain" because why would you do that?

P.S. I prefer "Spirals" even though it's not "macaroni." Something about it just makes it better.

You spelled Velveeta and Shells wrong.
