My case for ECF (likely overlaps some of the other posters who have already cast their vote).
This was my first post showing suspicion for ECF:
http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showpos...&postcount=808
In addition, ECF's vote is still on GP_Matt. The original reason?

I think if we get a flip for GP, this might tell us a lot, including maybe something about this eternal thing. Because GP sure as hell isn't telling us about it.
Vote: GP_Matt

Then joins the same group as their top suspect (!) and posts this:

So vote based on joining an unknown cult and being vague, then join said cult, confirm it is vague but never unvote? Very strange.
I agree with a few of the posters (dissentower, can't quite remember who else) in saying that lynching one of the cult members to get information might be a good idea. It could provide nothing, but has the potential for more information than a lynch of someone not in one of the cults.
But I think it should be ECF rather than GP_Matt. I've outlined my reasons for believing he is town before (granted I did say I was less sure once we saw how fast members were added). All else equal, I believe this is reason enough to pick ECF over GP_Matt:

However, the entry into the Guardians may be (and likely is) different from the Eternals. Hard to say, but it appears ECF is alone in his story for now.
I'm keeping my vote on ECF.

This isn't true, GP_Matt has said he was blackmailed into joining the Eternals as well or he would become powerless.

It seems Members of Eternals were blackmailed (if we buy their stories).
Again, GP_Matt not being worried about the lynch with 11 votes and multiple people willing to cast the hammer has me skeptical of him. It doesn't make sense unless he was sure people would unvote, and that's exactly what happened.

If he thought GP_Matt was mafia before the invite and the invitation didn't change anything for him, it makes sense he would still be on GP_Matt.
East Coast Flame, while one of my suspects, seems to have less inconsistencies in his thinking than GP_Matt.

The difference between the two is East Coast Flame seemed to be willing to share information about the group, whether we can trust him is another story. But GP_Matt has been extremely reluctant to do so, despite being on his death bed earlier. East Coast Flame seems more town-aligned in that regard.
But then one wanted to let RatherDashing post and the other wanted a quick hammer...so toss up for me.

I would agree with this fully if not for the reason for the original vote. ECF voted based on Matt's vague posting, joined the group, then agreed it was vague. I would have thought this would be enough for an unvote.
I'm still not sure Matt is town, but I have less reasons to believe he is mafia than ECF.

Well I agree with his reasoning, so I don't see it as a huge issue. GP_Matt has been holding back information, he was a Member of the Eternals for hours before it was discovered and he had 11 votes and the hammer about to come down on him.
If East Coast Flame didn't become aligned with him simply because of the invite, it make sense he would still be after him as GP_Matt wasn't trying to help the town out about the Member of the Eternals thing, in fact he was trying to hide it.

How come you only posted the first line of my post and not the second. It completely changes the context of my post and spreads misinformation. That is very close to lying in my opinion.
I posted that the invite said I would become powerless but the next line said I wasn't sure what powerless meant as it could be read two different ways, one as generally powerless and the other as actually losing my power.

Because it was just about being blackmailed. If you denied you were blackmailed now, how come you posted this:

So out of Matt and ECF I think I would be more comfortable voting ECF, I feel like out of the two of them Matt is more likely town.
I'm willing to go with the consensus on this one, I think they are both deadlocked at the moment.

You are the one who said it sounded like blackmail and I responded that it does sound that way but...

Why do you keep quoting me out of context? You are going after me despite the facts on the table. When I flip town I hope the town looks very closely at your actions and deceits. I am not ready to move my vote to you as I don't understand your motivations but I am paying a lot more attention now.

You held back information about the Members of Eternals from the town when you had 11 votes? Yes or no? Why?
That's all I'm getting it.
The blackmail stuff really has nothing to do with you specifically, just that it appears that Eternals are blackmailing their members ("confirmed" by both you and ECF) while Guardians don't appear to be.

When I get home today I will go back through the Wednesday timeline and post the play-by-play along with my reasoning at key points.

I mentioned earlier that joining the eternals did not make me change my mind about Matt. I thought his actions in day 1 were shady and the way he handled the reveal about joining the gorup to be shady.
I thought by the way he was being vague about answering questions about the eternals was shady - after I recieved the invite it confirmed my thoughts and there was no need to be so secritive about it. I've tried to explain as much as I can about the group and have been honest the entire time.

I'm back.
There seems to be alot of back and forth between 4-5 people. There are people that aren't really contributing. Is that a scummy thing to do? They really aren't in the limelight.
Rathji mentioned that his power got messed with. Has anyone else had this?
Until more information comes about with the Guardians/Eternals, I'm not sure how much more time we should dwell on this. I have to re-read a few posts, but will likely throw a vote to someone who hasn't been talking much. We won't get info on people if they aren't playing.

Between the 10:45 ecf vote for gp matt and this post at 11:24 ecf posts 4 times and makes no mention of joining the eternals. Mazrim updates at 11:33.
ECF posts again at 1:05 and doesn't mention joining. Puxlut posts after that we got a new member.
Not sure that this is scummy but it is bad town.
